Tronic has a 20-30 year long history with releasing melodic house and techno. While we opted for the more raw sound in the past few years, Christian wanted to go back to his roots and produce more emotive, groovy, and melodic house and techno again. Lamour Toujours is a progressive groover that has a disco-influenced bassline and adds an emotive chord progression in the break. We asked Argentinean legend Hernan Cattaneo to make a remix. As a long time supporter of Tronic we felt that he would be a great candidate for this remix. Hernan Cattaneo and Kevin Di Serna teamed up and delivered a stunning remix focusing on the melodic chord progression of the original! To finish this release, we asked Tokyo-based Frenchman Vantage to give his New Disco touch to the track. We are very proud of this release and hope you support it!

@siferrecords launches its journey with “Hijaz Landing,” the debut release from label founder @sinanabdelmoati This EP invites listeners on a voyage through new grooves, ancient scales, and empowering melodic stories, setting the stage for a label rooted in tradition yet always exploring new horizons.

Hijaz Landing
The title track pulses with dark, energetic momentum, weaving together techy grooves and hypnotic tribal percussion. Mysterious melodies float above, drawing on the evocative Hijaz scale, while the arrangement is electrified by fleeting, almost aerial sonic textures. The inspiration of the title comes from a sense of landing in a new ancient place, a sonic arrival guided by rhythm and ancestral echoes.

Champion
“Champion” flips the mood, bringing uplift and empowerment to the dance floor. Its euphoria swells atop a roaring bassline, with lush, melodic lines designed to fill listeners with strength and a sense of possibility. The track’s bright, driving character encapsulates the spirit of overcoming and triumph.

Spring Summer Fall Winter is a quarterly compilation compiled by Davide Squillace to be released on his label This And That Lab. Each edition is split into two parts with this being part B of the fourth edition.

Featuring a selection of styles percussive grooves and uplifting melodies this release includes tracks by Basti Grub, Affani, Federico Fioretti, DJ Simi and Last Vision. Combining tracks from a broad cross section of artists, each edition focuses on textures both audible and visual.

Opening part B of the edition is Basti Grub, who along with many previous releases on This And That has releases on some of electronic music most prestigious labels such as Hot Creations, Mobilee Records, Stil Vor Talent and Get Physical. Quirky vocals and vibrant percussion are a staple of Basti Grub’s style, and this seductive track titled “You Want Me” is true to his trademark sound.

Second is a collaborative track from DJ Simi and Last Vision who despite their many solo productions are joining forces for the first time with their track “Lithic Phase”. Deep and atmospheric, the tracks stripped back groove mixes trademark elements from their solo contributions to labels such as Great Stuff, Paul's Boutique, Stereo Productions and Snatch! Records.

Providing the third track is veteran producer Affani who has a timeless sound previously featured on labels including Nervous and Bush. Slow, building bass swells as the popping percussion cuts through the gliding pads that combine to give the tracks timeless sound perfect for all occasions.

Closing the release with a deep and spiritual track is Federico Fioretti who has also released on Glasgow Underground. Rich percussive textures and epic melodies blended with ceremonial chanting form the foundation of this uplifting composition that arguably saves the best till last.

Tibi Dabo returns to Crosstown Rebels with his second EP of the year The Distance We Share. His third EP will follow in the Autumn in advance of his debut album forthcoming in 2021. Globally revered American producer David Morales turns in two outstanding remixes that demonstrate contrasting aspects of his illustrious career.

The Distance We Share sees beautiful melodies standing both individually and combined to create an ethereal atmosphere. Starting with golden keys that drop into a twinkling lullaby, rising and falling throughout the track before ending with danceable energy. Komorebi opens with melancholic chords, the bassline moves at a relaxed pace over a rhythm of hi-hats and cowbell, sensual distorted vocals and delicate chimes induce a feeling of romance. The first remix of Komorebi from David Morales sees him add his legendary Red Zone stamp of New York influenced house music, building tension with darker tones, chugging percussion and hypnotic loops. His debut release the Ende EP on Sasha's Last Night on Earth imprint demonstrating his remarkable talent. With his determined attitude and unrelenting thirst for exploration impressing respected tastemaker Damian Lazarus, he was immediately signed to Crosstown Rebels. His last two EP’s Her Moon and Disbelieve on the imprint, initiating a run of unrelenting form that marks the start of big things to come.
