Breakfast Bar @ Pineapple Motel - Burning Man 2023

Dear fellow humans. Please take a moment to read this. 

Down unders  is metamorphosing into underneath, same frequencies, going deeper. This downtempo set was meant to happen live in the Maxa Deer, alongside epic musicians and their instruments on the Friday sunset of Burning Man 2023, yet we had to surrender to a storm that humbled us all and gave us a true rebirth. So we decided to still create a set to elevate a powerful message and we are deeply honored to raise these spiraling frequencies of wisdom to the world through the Maxa Platform that is true family to us.  
Our inspiration for this DownUnders chapter is the collective metamorphosis we are navigating. We cannot deny It feels dark, so It’s more important than ever to keep our hearts open and connect to our craft, as a way to maintain our inner harmony in balance through the turbulence of a wild world. 

This musical journey also reflects the depths of intentionality beating in the heart of Maxa which are now birthing to light for the community. As much passion as we have for electronic music that makes us fly on a dancefloor, we are also widening the spectrum and welcoming other angles of musical craft which can delight our ears in a slow and loving way that speaks to our soul. 

It is so important for us to hear which parts of this journey resonate with you, so If you have something powerful to share in the comments please do so. Now, we do support free expression, yet are also sensitive to the fact that we are all overwhelmingly flooded by dual information in all platforms, so we kindly share… this is by NO means a space to take sides or express political opinions, we will NOT tolerate flags or any kind of propaganda in the comments, this is merely a universal expression of love and a calling for unity through music, so with all our hearts help us get spread the message in a peaceful and harmonious way.

The day will come where we get to share in flesh from the echoes of the Maxa Deer in Black Rock City.

For now, here is another 4 hour immersion into music and poetry to inspire you through the Spirals of Growth.

It has been just over a month since I left Black Rock City for the 5th time, and this marks an annual turning point for me. Today is my birthday, and I have one last gift to give you this year my crazy Playa friends.  Today my thoughts shift from: wishing I could teleport back to all the amazing moments we shared together just one month ago, to focusing on the productive 11 months ahead, until we meet again in  the dust.  I hope this mix will allow you to breathe a deep relaxing exhale, grounding yourself back to "reality", and inspire the same thoughts of excitement in you, until we meet again - in Black Rock City.

It all began right there on the playa, six years ago under the rays of the morning sun, immersed in the magic of the beautiful Robot Heart sound stage.  A community so powerful and strong, it has become the biggest inspiration for my own musical journey. The people I met, the music I heard and the feelings I had that first night have left a lasting impression and inspired me to learn a new skill and start playing and producing music.

In the modern world, traveling around the world, making countless acquaintances we get lost in this endless whirlpool of activity. We start seeking a sense of belonging, experiences that unite us and inspire to create. This is what Robot Heart does for many of us, whether you come here to dance, play or connect. 

My own experience led me to start experimenting with sound and styles, curating artists that would join us on the playa for a week and become family for life.  We grew into a amazing community, which we call White Ocean, united by our love and passion for creativity and exploration. There is nothing more inspiring for me at the moment than seeing how music can improve our lives and open our minds to new adventures and experiences. It did it for me......

It has been the greatest honor to come back to where it all started and play my set for Robot Heart's 10 year anniversary on the playa. I wish your journey to continue for my years to come:)
