JiBë was born in 1983 in the south of France. He has never followed any particular musical education but it is with years of self-learning that he taught himself. 

Early cutting-edge influences such as trip hop and new wave led him to a real fascination for electronic music. This fascination inspired him to perform as a DJ for several years and later produce his own sound. 

His unique deep sound is inspired by various electronic and acoustic music. In constant evolution, he doesn't like to be confine in any kind of musical limits, giving himself free rein for inspiration. 

For him, making music is like taking snapshots of specific moments of his life, with its emotions, joys and sorrows. Each of us will find a little bit of his own by listening to his work...

Critically-acclaimed Dutch act Weval (AKA Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte Albers) arrive on Ninja Tune’s Technicolour imprint with their new EP Changed For The Better. The duo hail from Amsterdam, where they have been cultivating a unique sound that balances high energy electronic funk and emotive synth arrangements with bold, beautifully composed melodies and songwriting. We here at Beachcoma aim to not just stimulate your ears, but your fucking brains too. Techno is indeed a music of the body, but that doesnʼt mean it has to be shallow and superfi cial. That is why our track names, cover designs and indeed info sheets are often educational in nature. Just because we are giving you giant ear-boners with the finest techno music doesnʼt mean we canʼt reach around and rub your big, hairy brain. IDA is a Finnish DJ, Producer, and owner of the label Sävy Records based in Berlin, Germany.

Ida's vibrant sets are informed by her deep love of old school techno, breaks and electro, with a modern edge that effortlessly transcends categorisation. With a style that's distinctly her own, but still retaining an irresistible, classic rave energy, her versatile and charismatic performances are as at home in the most intimate clubs as they are on big festival stages.

From Helsinki via Glasgow and Berlin, Ida first made an impact with her renowned Acid Flash parties, which found a home at Glasgow's legendary Sub Club. Since then she's played notable clubs across Berlin including Tresor, ELSE, Wilde Renate and Revier Sudost, as well as famed UK venues Fold, Warehouse Project, HopeWorks and Motion Bristol. From her own UK Boiler Room tour, and playing B2Bs with revered DJs like Daniel Avery in locations including a secret car park in Paris, to lighting up the stage at Stihia Festival in Uzbekistan, Ida has indisputably marked herself as an artist on the rise. A resident on Berlin's Refuge radio, she's also currently working on her debut EP to be released on her own label Sävy Records, where she has previously hosted releases from artists including Ryan James Ford, Poly Chain, Slacker and Tracing Xircles.
