Written during a 3:17 am spiral about how my SAD lamp is still in a box from last year's breakdown while everyone else seems to have their shit together enough to coordinate outfits with falling leaves. This track is for everyone whose "autumn aesthetic" is just surviving until spring.

Produced entirely in my bedroom between therapy appointments I can't afford and pumpkin spice lattes I definitely can't afford. The bass-line mimics my serotonin levels (steadily declining), while the synths represent the $40 candle I bought instead of groceries.

For my listeners dealing with the season change: What's your most unhinged fall coping mechanism? Mine is calling eating soup in bed "honoring the harvest" 🥲

It was recorded after an unforgettable night I played at Strange Night at 17 Little Portland Street in London, curated by the duo Awkward Moments to raise funds for AKT, a charity tackling youth homelessness in the LGBTQ+ community. The lineup included Farsight, Maya Jane Coles and Awkward Moments amongst other talented artists and the unapologetic queerness of the event left a lasting mark on me. I even included Awkward Moments’ track EXTASE as a nod to the inspiration that shaped this mix."
