The winter's almost gone and Luettje Luise's Mama comes out of hibernation. With a new playground at home, it will take a talented hand to prepare for the upcoming spring. Along comes @Nutia, sowing his seeds of ‘Raounuor’.

‘Fischbahn’ (A1) is a decent wake up call for the early birds facing their way back north to the deep woods of ‘Schweden’ (A2). Here, Nutia serenades those old inhabitants with a rattling melody, and sends them on their way with heads still light. ‘Em Pessoa’ (B1) tinkles on the flipside: a lullaby of constant perpetuation, which echoes its way through the mesmerising labyrinth of trees and bushes, only to be heard by the lonesome @Deer (B2), who answers with the most gentle mating call these woods have ever heard.

‘From Outside’ (Digital) the vinyl some unknown voices fly in. One might call them electronic - whatever that could be.

The long awaited first release of Stavroz on Denature Records has arrived! This 5-track EP starts with "Zorrow". This track sounds like an invitation to wander and get lost in the jungle. By the second track, 'Perron 11' the tempo gets more vigorous opening the way to the main track 'Kasambila' and its enchanting ethnic vibes. On the other side of the EP, 'Xs Pls' (pronounce it Extra Small Please) has this unique instrumental groove that the four-piece band masters so well. The EP ends with the title 'It was All A Ruse', a melancholic ballad through mystical lands.

It takes just a few beats until the ritualistic vocal of Macaco lifts your spirit and the flute sample takes your fantasy on a weightless flight through the ethereal textures of delayed bliss. Within no time, you’re pretty damn high and you might well find yourself wondering how those relatively few beats per minute create such a compelling vortex of catchiness and drive. In comparison, the Mollono.Bass remix seems to be constructed without any handbrake whatsoever - once you connect to this tune it drags you straight into the nocturnal prime time of the dancefloor. Good things come in threes, and that’s why there’s the track Zeus. Its sleek groove plays around the casual sound of a guitar and gives rise to the idea of a road movie that involves colorful Hippies, the dusty scenery of a desert and some seriously wild things going on.

Rey&Kjavik has a preference for mystical and spiritual soundscapes in an electronic music context. His debut album, 'Rkadash', released last year, emphasized the artist's state of mind and transfered the creativity of this significant chapter in his life to the dancefloor. But in the same pace as time moves on people do as well, hence the producer has spent and wisely used the past couple of months to come to terms with transforming his newly gained impressions resulting in his second studio album, 'Mountiri' that will be released in december on his own label RKJVK. The approach of 'Mountiri' differs from his first album as Rey&Kjavik created a concept album that strongly focuses on the flow in the style of a good old mixtape that you can listen to in one go. Musically the artist stayed true to himself and yet created an advanced spiritual and mystical piece of art that highlights his versatility by drawing on oriental vibes and desertic rhythms that come in relaxing, as in the album's opener 'Saraswati' (Mountiri album version), but build up tension throughout the album's journey and peak with 'Amaan' before achieving both, peace and freedom in the soundscapes of the LP's name giving and closing track 'Mountiri'. With his second album Rey&Kjavik crosses the frontiers of a visible reality being turned into an auditory experience and to become one in the musically experienced moment.
