«Intricate Records is something tangible and emerging from our long-term friendship and creative relations. – It is hard to imagine that someone will make an objection regarding many associable details and ideas of our creative work. The most significant part is that our preferences and tastes intricately but harmoniously amplify each other in most cases. All of us feel it. That is why the creation of a record label is a logical step for our career».

A friendship is one thing, but continuous development is vitally important. This is why the fellows decided not to take a break at the level of current achievements and grounded their own record label. «By the times someone discovers the points of coincidence with the colleagues not only in terms of business, but also creative sphere – that is always a positive experience! – Unification of musical efforts in frames of one label is our next and by no means unimportant step in creative self-fulfillment».

It is important to mention that the quad is not going to limit the newborn imprint’s catalog only with own productions. Intricate Records is also a promising platform for implementation of creative aspiration of other talented producers who feel themselves on the same wave quite often.

«Right at the moment there is no single record label which coincides with my musical taste and general conception, which I would like to see being embodied. Starting a new imprint with the fellow guys, I’m looking forward to the having the possibility of fulfilling myself as an A&R-manager and making the current musical world at least a little bit better. We are going to collaborate with our friends and associates from around the world. I certainly believe, if such projects are held with well-intentioned mood and built on relations of friendship, there are certain chances to make something special and terminative».

Dj Rootsman-Vibes aka Ousmane nasce a Dakar nel 1981, fin da giovanissimo ascolta e segue la musica hip hop e black music. 
Nel 1999 inizia a suonare nei quartieri di Dakar selezionando musiche afro, capoverdiane, tradizionali e mbalakh.
Trasferitosi a Brescia nel 2002, dopo un anno di militanza tra i club underground della città, inizia a suonare prima utilizzando i cd, in seguito i vinili. Organizza svariate serate r&b, hip hop, reggaeton e raggamuffin in numerosi club della zona e anche in altre città come
Brescia, Bergamo, Desenzano, Verona, Vicenza, Padova, Venezia, Milano, Varese e Salento.
Nel 2012 si trasferisce a Padova avvicinandosi sempre di più al suono in levare, abbracciando ampiamente la cultura roots-reggae-dancehall sempre con tendenze black. Inizia a gestire presso il club Metropolis le serate reggae-dancehall, collaborando con vari sound system veneti fino a realizzare un grande evento (Gang Reggae Bang) che si ripeterà annualmente fino al presente con il nome di Padova Connection.
In questo periodo ha collaborato con Rude Boy Crew, Boomchilom, Jungle Fever, Hi-Fi Foundation, Zion Train Radio, Mr Robinson, Niki Irie.
Nel 2015 si trasferisce a Reggio Emilia dove incontra la Jahspora Crew con cui inizia una collaborazione artistica ed entra nella family. Insieme gestiscono serate roots-reggae-dancehall-hiphop-afrobeat in vari club e città emiliane. Hanno collaborato con vari artisti emergenti della scena in levare, organizzando concerti ed eventi. Dal 2016 è iniziata una buona collaborazione con il Vibra club di Modena e il club Blu J di Reggio Emilia, contattando artisti come Awa Fall, Patois Brothers, K-smile, Empatee du Weiss, Hakuna Matata... partecipando inoltre ad importanti eventi come Campovolo ReggaeFest e Positive River Festival.
