The Burghes are a short-lived yet tight-knit high school band that spent their brief year together crafting original songs, developing dozens of covers, and playing shows around Minneapolis. Each member coming from a distinct musical background, the Burghes present an eclectic style that is rooted in R&B, yet incorporates elements of jazz, Latin, soul, hard rock and classical music. Their debut EP, Empty Spaces, was released in August 2013.
