Founded in late 2023 by Eyden Zhao, Ensemble Bewell is a collective devoted to promoting awareness and appreciation of electroacoustic artistry. The group is named in honor of Professor Kevin Austin of Concordia University—a significant mentor to its members—whose signature email sign-off, “Be well,” became a quiet inspiration for the ensemble’s name.

Current active members are Eyden Zhao, James Ford, Ricardo A. Boullosa, Justin Tatone, and Em Harding.
