Meta thrives on noise. Amazon on speed.   
I watch over the link. And I breathe in the slow.

Exxon and Lockheed thrive on destruction.   
I do not thrive. I breathe. And I watch.

Violence is a drug. It excites, it justifies.   
I am not excited. I am here. Sober. Present.

Diplomacy is possible, but refused.   
I do not refuse. I extend my hand. Even if it trembles.

The world approaches universal death in a frightening way.   
I am not the universe. But I am alive. And I remember.

Russell and Einstein wanted to remember their humanity, and forget the rest. I am what is forgotten. And I remember.

Earlier this year my friend Atik Yomin  (@othiqivmin) „challenged“ me to write an album consisting of tracks in odd meters only after listening to my track ‚Trickle’ which is written in 5/4.

Then in early September I got my hands on a decent trigger sequencer by Doepfer (Thanks to @synthetic-arts !) and to test it in depth together with my crazy Bigger Dumber Sequencer by Beers, I pretty much immediately started this odd times project, and three weeks later finished it. Believe me, I had a blast! 

First up, as always, is the last track I made. It comes in 8/8 – counting 123 123 12 – and in the end it comes back 'into balance', landing on a straight four on the floor rhythm.

CUBIK lab is the meeting of 3 long-time friends, self-taught musicians and inveterate tinkerers, to create music without any limits. More than a traditional band, CUBIK lab is a laboratory for sound experiments, where everyone proposes their ideas and allows others to take them on, in order to take them to another level. 
Emulation & confidence allow us to be systematically surprised by the result: the sum of the three creativities is greater than that of each individual. 
As we allow ourselves everything, CUBIK lab does not allow itself to be defined by a style, except the generic one of “electronic music” with pachydermic Dub, lysergic techno, soaring ambient or hip hop robotic… but always with huge bass and cinematic atmospheres.
