A key fixture in the record bags of DJs throughout the past few decades, best known for their unforgettably odd house anthem ‘He Not In’, it’s been some years since Andy Meecham and Dean Meredith last collaborated as Chicken Lips. As such, it’s with no little delight that Phantasy welcomes them back into the fold with one of their most mind-bending tracks yet, accompanied by a remix from a fellow stalwart of the underground, DJ Sotofett.

The ever shape shifting, critically hailed Hercules & Love Affair return with brand new album In Amber, to be released on 17th June 2022 via Skint/BMG.

“Across this record, there are emotional fields I hadn’t ventured into previously with Hercules & Love Affair,” says Butler. “Destruction, rage, loss, but also redemption and journeying towards empowerment are all touchstones on the album. It has taken years to make, but I am happy to put it forward now, at a moment in time where we have all been confronted with such heightened feelings collectively and on an unprecedented scale”.

Reuniting with ANOHNI for the first time since her stellar turn on the eponymous debut in 2008 (which undeniably produced one of the most beloved dance tunes of the oughts “Blind”) proved key to this process. Both share a love and deep respect for music of a more aggressive bent, zig zagging from grindcore like Godflesh and Bolt Thrower, via electronic avant-garde like Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire to female fronted punk and metal like Sacrilege, Fear of God and Diamanda Galas.  On the other end of the spectrum, they have an equally intense appreciation for darker ethereal acts such as This Mortal Coil and Dead Can Dance. In Amber reflects this wide swathe of emotion and sound.

Love all types of music for sure... dont really listen to much country but im in love with everything else.  If i like it... i listen to it.  No hangups. 

Love putting my headphones on for hours and hours and ignoring the world while im dancing and listening to tunes.

BearDance® provides much-needed financial support to local LGBT charities and nonprofit organizations serving community needs. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, BearDance raises these funds through the production and marketing of unique events that bring bears, cubs, their friends and admirers closer together. Our marquee event BearDance: TBRU each March during Texas Bear Round-Up in Dallas set another attendance record in 2013, surpassing 2,000 paid admissions. So far we’ve raised nearly $100,000 for organizations such as Youth First Texas, AIDS Interfaith Network, AIDS Services of Dallas, Sharon St. Cyr Foundation, The Greg Dollgener Memorial AIDS Fund (GDMAF) and AIDS Arms. In 2013--their first year in contention--BearDance was chosen "Top Party for a Cause" by readers of the Dallas Voice in the annual Readers Voice Awards.

Logan Lynn is a songwriter and producer who Billboard writes “has made a career out of crafting catchy, disorderly songs that almost all include big beats, fun melodies and cheeky lyrics”.

The former host of NewNowNext Music on MTV’s Logo Network, he has collaborated with 80s pop star Tiffany, 90s alt-rock legends The Dandy Warhols, and dozens of others. Lynn’s songs have appeared in international advertising campaigns by CoverGirl Cosmetics, Oscar de la Renta, Nicole Miller, Volkswagen and more.

Upon soundtracking songs for the Netflix series EastSiders during its final season, he signed to Kill Rock Stars in 2020 and released an album titled New Money on the label in 2022. He then collaborated with production duo Yellow Trash Can (ILoveMakonnen, Nova) and released a 5-song EP and short film, titled “Distracted”, on KRS in summer of 2023.

Lynn released his 11th studio album, SOFTCORE, on Kill Rock Stars on June 7th, 2024 alongside a short film by the same name. In September of that same year, KRS released a 30 song deluxe edition of the record which features 19 new tracks. The HARDCORE sister record includes collaborations with FAWN (Glass Candy, Chromatics), Desolation Horse, Melissa Ferrick, Glitterfox, Kyle Andrews, and dozens of others.

In 2025, after appearing on the soundtrack for “Unconventional” on Revry TV, Lynn announced he was working on new music.

 Over the past decade, Scheiman has amassed an impressive roster of club appearances and major headlining events that span 3 continents. He performed at some of the biggest parties and clubs in Europe and the Middle East – including Oman 17 (TLV), Beef (TLV), We party & Kluster (Madrid Main Pride Event), Salvation, HustlaBall (London), Black & White Party (Zurich), Red wolf/Scream/Matinee (Paris), Bear Necessity, Funhouse XXL - 8,000 PPL (Amsterdam Pride), Red & Blue (Antwerp) and many more.

Outside Europe, Scheiman has toured extensively in the United States, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Thailand, and China. He headlined parties such as Revolution in Rio (NYE & Carnival), DF & G – Music Fest in Mexico City, Destination Beijing, Icon Shanghai, and I:M festival in Seoul.
