Berlin based DJ-Producer duo Crom & Thanh take on the sultry title song of Lana's current album and turn it into an epic and timeless piece of house music. Reworking Del Ray's subtle melancholia into a tight groove and an infectiously hypnotic arpeggio sequence, 'Ultraviolence' is transformed into seven and a half minutes of magic musicality...

Crom & Thanh's remix of Ultraviolence is released on OFF Recordings on 27 October.

Austrian duo Wild Culture have fast become staples of the Kittball imprint since their first release back in 2012. Alongside three original EPs titled ‘Faith’, ‘This Moment’ and ‘Fade’, the twosome have also been tapped to remix label founders Tube & Berger’s seminal hit ‘Lovebreak’, not to mention having their own work remixed earlier this year by the likes of Nico Pusch, David Jach and Purple Disco Machine.  

Kick-starting their fourth original release on Kittball; dark and brooding, the beefy first track of the release titled ‘The TIDE’ takes no prisoners as it lays down a mean and throbbing low end, albeit the Austrian duo still incorporate a heavy dosage of funk courtesy of plucky guitar work and jittery keys. 
‘With YOU’ boasts rumbling kicks, heady vocals and subterranean synths that collectively form a multi-layered and enriching number topped with mind-bending atmospherics that ebb hypnotically throughout.

First out is "Come On". This track is way more clubby than our usual sound. From the start it is attitude and bass which follows it all the way to the end. Twirky acid touch with a vocal to top it off. 

On the remix side we have https://soundcloud.com/kyrillredford. These guys goes DEEP and we love it! The main influence sounds like it is from a score to a movie. Really dark and mysterious which give the listener a real treat. This is a experience and the break we all wait for is the favorite part of this one.

B-Side on this ep is "Forgive Me"

Once again Ryan play around with the twisted bass. Vocals on top of that and a driven force to make you move. Hard to stand still to this banger.

On the remix side we have German duo https://soundcloud.com/matchyandbott. As previous duo they focus on going deep. You can still hear the vocals on this one but they scaled it down and prepared a well served dish for those deep lovers. But they did not forget to give you that last treat after the break. Industry house for those warehouse goers.

Röyksopp - Sordid Affair (LO'99 Remix)

Continuing a very special and fruitful relationship, Catz N’ Dogz’s always captivating Pets Recordings recruits close friend KiNK for his first ever release on the label. It finds the Bulgarian live specialist and techno innovator serving up a fantastic new cut and comes with a remix from raw American talent Truncate. 

KiNK, of course, is known for his mesmeric and logic defying live shows, his acerbic releases on labels like Macro– who released his excellent recent album, Self Destruction – and Ovum, as well as his passion for weird sounds. KiNK is also the producer behind Rachel Row’s brace of hits for Pets and the prominent vocalist once again features here with some stunning work. 

That continues on his track here, ‘Fantasia’, which is a brooding and slow burning track with a synth line that goes from rubbery to acidic. Around it, patient percussion, deep, warm kicks and breathy female vocals add a sense of sexual tension then finally, KiNK’s trademark and colourful synth freakiness takes over. It’s the sort of track that will lock in dancefloors and mesmerise them for the duration. 

The remix comes from Truncate, who runs his own eponymously entitled label, releases on 50Weapons and produces deep, textured house and techno.  His version is more urgent and techno leaning, with paranoid siren like hooks, scurrying basslines and lots of ravey warehouse intent. 

This standout release – which comes with 10 vinyl-only locked grooves - once again confirms KiNK to be a truly unique craftsmen.

Full Crate x Mar - Nobody Else (Hotel Garuda Remix)

For the first single from a 6-track EP from Montreal's Clarian (who is also one half of Footprintz), the Canadian reached well beyond the border to collaborate with Tel Aviv-born, Madrid-based producer Guy Gerber on "Claire." Gerber has been a major player on Israel's electronic scene since 2006, running his own Supplemental Facts label and infusing traces of minimal techno, tech house, downtempo and deep house in his productions, while remaining singular in his approach. Clarian's vocal contributions were at the heart of Gerber's progressive house-leaning Fabric mix from last year, which joined the likes of Ricardo Villalobos and Omar-S of artists that turned in single-artist mixes to the series. "Claire" starts amid a queasy vocal snippet (with Clarian's French whisper lodged in at the midpoint) and threatens to go darker and deeper. But a steady handclap and glimmering melodic line uplifts and casts light across this seven-minute track.
