For this 1st Premiere of 2023, we have a track by "Kwasir" titled ‘Aliens Are Coming For You’ from the forthcoming Compilation "Native Boundaries VA001" on Los Angeles based record label : Native Boundaries.

Kwasir is a new project run by the well know DJ Crisma, born in Trieste (Italy) in 1990. This new musical identity, characterised by Electro ’90 sonorities with some acid and industrial notes, is the result of a self-discovering path which involved years of travelling around Europe and finally led to a  revolution and change in his musical world.

A collection of breaks, electro, juke, and techno for the people that both slam and vibe. Enjoy the electric, eclectic energy and get outside your local sphere of influence: these dance gems are inspired by the sounds of Detroit, LA, and Berlin, and produced by artists from Australia, Canada, Israel and beyond.

This instalment heads deep into the techno-electro sound with 4 club focussed tracks. The A side see's dutch Techno stalwart Darko Esser aka Tripeo make his CE debut. He shows an absolute masterclass in bridging the space between techno and electro with "Bullshit Detector" and "Echo Cages". Forward-thinking futuristic grooves! Also making his CE debut is Spanish dub techno producer Francisco Aguado with his new electro focussed alias Cycloplex. "Hypertension" and "Alarm Activated" are both brooding, deep tracks that blur the lines of the genre and are firmly aimed at the dancefloor.

Nerve Collect co-founder Gamma Intel follows up label partner Identified Patient's inaugural release with his thrilling E.M. EP. Across six club-ready cuts, the Dutchman explores the spaces where bass, techno, electro and acid all intersect. E.M. is available in digital and physical 12'' format.

On the A side 'Little Mirror Man' opens up with an elastic but thumping broken beat. A flurry of jungle drums rain down next to scratched metal stabs, bleep-techno melodies and all underpinned with heavy bass rumbles. 'Save Pair of Hands' doesn't let up, with knick-snapping hits and earth-shattering bass weight. As heavy as the groove might be, there is still plenty of room for deft synth designs to bring plenty of emotion. On '5AM-SBM' you are tugged in many directions at once - nimble drums dart about beneath prickly percussion and flaming hits that have a mind of their own. Although the low end is distorted, the details up top are well-defined and given plenty of space to make their mark.

The flipside takes off on turbocharged techno-electro fusion 'Sleep and Cry.' It's a devastating and visceral drum track that also packs an emotional punch as celestial chords suspend you at the doors of heaven. 'Panthera Leo' soundtracks the end of the world as acid lashes about amidst controlled but unrelenting drum chaos and finally, the drilling bass and frantic drum programming of 'Trust' is another all-powerful club track. Its dark energy sucks you in for a white-knuckle ride to remember.

This EP finds Gamma Intel pulling off plenty of unusual tricks and twists on his way to conquering the dance floor.

[TRUST43] VIIKATORY - what the a.i. decides [out september 2023]

Meet Kate Pending, an enigmatic and ingenious Berlin-based artist whose very first full-length album works as a wide introduction to the universe of her many influences and capabilities. The edgy “Pigmented Reality” develops its magic through twelve well-constructed originals – plus three insightful remixes by Void Loop ( ) and Iron Curtis –, spanning amongst different textures and soundscapes. Ethereal, experimental, progressive, and whatnot strokes come together and bring to life a multi-genre palette, filled with a ubiquitous synth extravaganza that results in both dance-floor-oriented gems and relaxing introspective themes. 

The mastermind behind the remix premiered here, in turn, needs no introduction. His rich discography with acclaimed appearances on vital labels such as Frank Music, Melomana, Permanent Vacation, DistroKid, Dirt Crew, Vitalik, and Chiwax, just to name a few, has put Iron Curtis among the most interesting and solicited House Music artists of his generation. His two Electro-tinged breaks Augmented and Augmented Dub reworks of the title track deliver the stripped back maximalist sound we come to expect from him. The energy and gravity of the original was kept but comes now clad in a peak-time gait.
