Featuring sounds from my local coffee shop. Inspired by Ocean Arya and Professor Tim Roberts.

The photo cover is this place (called Vaxholm) I used to visit as a kid in Sweden (where I lived for some time). There were apple cinnamon candle shops and antique train shops and other children jumping into the small little beach, careless of the coarse sand. There was a buzz of talkative tourists like ants around melting icecream. A smooth summer breeze that carried the sailboats and trams.

Here’s another one I found on an old reel. I was looking for a version of Lenny playing this tune to post, sort of a holiday treat. He didn’t play it that often but I recall several times he did, however it looks like this is the only recording I made of it, although I wouldn’t be surprised if someone else has a version. This one is cool as Lenny was in high spirits, joking around a lot, so I didn’t edit out the talking; hearing his voice brings back this night so clearly. It’s funny as hell… his introduction of the players and especially when he introduces himself, well you will hear it. 
I taped this on same machine we borrowed on that classic winter night that I told about previously and posted some songs from. This is also from winter 1976-77 in Nashville but a different night. They played this at end of a set so they did a short break tune, Blues in Bb, so I left it on as well. Gene Autry never sounded like this before!    Stephen Anderson
