On the B-side, 6 remixes deepen the sonic palette of the dreamy landscapes showcased on the other side. Alon.e dwelves into trancy synths and an IDM/trip-hopish groove for his version of Super Yellow Juice. Le Frit reconstructs Nunca Esperei por Ti. into a low-key, delicate and psychedelic dembow track. H2O gives a new life to Bamboo Flute with a playful version halfways between dub and synthwave. Guillerrrmo, straight from Manaus, member of São Paulo’s Mamba Negra, distorts the same track into a slow and powerful breakbeat heater. Manchester’s Obeka delivers a mesmerizing dancehall remix of Bury me, with Love, inspired by the track’s heady synths. Last but not least, Ditti re-harmonizes Escadarias into a colorful and quirky reinterpretation.

Founded by french artists @da-iguana & @dokomodo, Reptilian Business Records aims to be an independent label of hybrid music, with the goal of promoting the fusion of electronic rhythms, organic textures, sound design and traditional influences, through the vision of local and international artists of all kinds. From tribal house to UK dubstep, from psychedelic cumbia to dark disco, from slow trance to indie dance, everything that purrs and reflects its scales, which squeaks and waves at the same time: reptilian music.

About the VA "GECKO BLASTER"
This VA puts the spotlight on 8 countries, represented by twenty artists from radically different scenes, from the parisian organic underground to the dubstep soundsystem scene of Brooklyn, to the downtempo and schnekno of Berlin and Frankfurt, swiss lo-fi, japanese experimental, or slow house drawn from brazilian forests, not to mention the participation of locals from the french southwest who offer organic jungle, dark electro or tribal slow trance... A musical diversity which has a common denominator love for psychedelia, distortion, depth of bass and sharp rhythms like the claws of an arboreal monitor lizard.

Noema’s record label The Magic Movement revisits Xique-Xique's debut album 'Na Lagoa' with new remixes by Nutia, Dengue Dengue Dengue, Niko Schwind and Batu Ozer.

Xique-Xique dropped their downtempo and trippy 'Na Lagoa' album via The Magic Movement in 2021 and this release features dance floor friendly reworks of its most popular tracks.

Nutia provides a trippy remix of "Preludio" in a similar style to what the Hamburg based artist has featured on other imprints such as Sol Selectas and Underyourskin Records.

Dengue Dengue Dengue is a Berlin based duo whose triple barrelled name and tribal style of downtempo electronica can be found on record labels ranging from On The Corner Records to Enchufada. Their remix of "Senhor Carangeju" adds tribal rhythms to the original's melody synth.

Niko Schwind is based in Berlin and a regular on labels including A Tribe Called Kotori and Stil Vor Talent. His remix of the album's title track "Na Lagoa" adds additional synths and an arpeggio melody to create a more melodic version of the original.

Batu Ozer is a Turkish artist from Istanbul who is an accomplished DJ and aspiring producer known for his releases on Urban Cosmonaut Radio and Leveldva. He has a downtempo style and his remix of "Say Hum" is filled with haunting atmosphere and attentive melodies.
