My submission for the #DiscoveryCompetition by Orchestral Tools.

The brief: Compose a piece of music (between 45 seconds and two-minutes long) depicting the moment a new universe is discovered.

My scene: Exiting a wormhole and arriving at a vast new star system. An azure planet glistens in the light cast by its star, to the wide-eyed wonder of the starship crew. After all this time in the coldest reaches of empty space, they've finally arrived at what might just be their new home.

Random Battle Encounter!

Today's theme for #7daysofVGM is "Into the Dungeon", writing background music fitting for the classic, tense setting of a JRPG dungeon. 

I envisioned the abandoned halls and marble corridors of an old temple left to dilapidate in the midst of a snowy, spooky forest. That's like three layers of eerie ambience just in the setting! Perfect for a track that's equal parts mystery and wistful longing for times gone by.

This month's theme is mythical creatures, and the prompt for today is... unicorns? Well they're magical creatures, so I went in the sprinkly sparkly Disney direction for this one.

This month's theme is mythical creatures, and the prompt for today is... the Yeti! I think of it as a big and kinda goofy creature, but with a certain majesty to it nonetheless, so that's what this track is all about.
