This song uses what Emmylou Harris calls "Canadian tuning" - EAEAAE - so I thought I'd better write a song with a Canadian theme. What emerged was a song about climbing Silver Mountain in Ontario's stunning Killarney Park. It has a bit of a Gord Lightfoot influence, which makes it even more Canadian, eh?

SPOTLIGHT:  With "Trap Doors" Sexagenarian Vol VI now has nine of its planned 12 tracks. Check out the other five (5!) volumes of Sexagenarian as well. Then there's "Darq Bleu/Change Hue," my first collaboration with anyone other than my brother. I took about half of the Crawling Vines (Jack Holston) song "Darq Bleu" and added a chorus. Came out pretty well! 

BIO: I started writing songs in high school (1969-1973!) and I've pretty much never stopped. These are mostly solo recording projects (my brother, Fog City Fogey, contributes sometimes).  I don't do much self-promotion, not a fan of Repost Exchange etc, so all of you who find this page and like a song or two - you are truly appreciated!
