A simple but emotional song.  Well written & performed.

is a goid idea, putting the lyrics in the "about" (im learning)

This is a very good song - I could hear Springsteen doing this.

This song is moving, & thought provoking.  My dad is my hero, but I didn't realize it until he was gone.

Extremely catchy in a way that retains integrity. "Why I had to learn to be a man" is a great line

BIO: I started writing songs in high school (1969-1973!) and I've pretty much never stopped. These are mostly solo recording projects (my brother, Fog City Fogey, contributes sometimes).  I don't do much self-promotion, not a fan of Repost Exchange etc, so all of you who find this page and like a song or two - you are truly appreciated!
