Born and raised in Haan, a town between Düsseldorf and Cologne, DJ Klosing’s love for electronic music began 10 years ago when he first went partying in Cologne. 

He started djing not long after and had his first club gig 6 years ago. In 2018 he started his first residency in the infamous underground club Basements Solingen alongside his partners in crime with which he started their own label in 2020, which is known as Sekt Sellz Rekordz . 

In the same year his second residency started with the party series Pista from Lucerne (CH). 3 years ago he started their wednesday party series “Bergfest “ at their beloved Kunstbar. Hi!

I have been a DJ for 20 years now and have hosted electronic dance events in Amsterdam, under the name Mechanism for 15 years of those as well. 

5 years ago I found an old and broken Juno 106 in my Dad's attic which led to me exploring my own sound more in depth and was the beginning of creating my own home studio, adding new gear along the way. I now produce electro and breaks under the name Aztronouth and downtempo funk obscurities under an alter-ego, Oortfunk. I am also part of Waveform Syndicate [Live] with Luus and Machinefunk.

With roots in hip hop, disco, Detroit techno and an overall love for funk, I believe I have managed to create my own style and sound.

My music has been released on CyberDomain, Connectome Records, Abstract Rhythm, Boomstraat1818, and Space is the place.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
