DJ Etta is a Leo queen, techno-funk-musicologist, and driving force to the Detroit dance community - whether it be through her sound, words, or creating a space to uplift other talent - centering black femmes. DJ Etta’s dedication to the craft resurfaces historical roots in the city from the ground up, prevailing in her sound and collaborations amongst artists across the country.

My musical influences span the globe from learning to two-step at bluegrass festivals in Alaska in the late 80's and studying Turkish Folk music in Istanbul in '90, to the early Full Moon parties on Koh Pha Ngan in '92, and a decade in NYC dancing at Jackie 60, Save The Robots, Squeeze Box @Don Hill's to name a few.
