One could say Danny Benedettini is inspired by punk-rock music and cult horror film icon, Lloyd Kaufman, but if you asked him what truly fuels his creative energy, his reply would be: ordinary life. While some try to decipher the real versus the unreal and the scary versus the funny, Benedettini sits back in the darkness and observes life quietly.

Raised in the tiny Italian seaside town of Cervia, Benedettini‚Äôs teenage years were spent kicking it at a local punk-rock concert venue that first whetted his appetite for music production and an acoustic drum-set. With a sleep-deprived father under the same roof however, the drum-set was short-lived but Benedettini‚Äôs musical aspirations lingered on.

His first introduction to minimal sound dates back to 2004 in New York City when a friend slipped him a Run Stop Restore CD. Benedettini‚Äôs fascination with the style grew bigger, his determination grew stronger and his connection grew closer as he sent demo after demo solely to Minus and later down the line, to Items & Things. In 2010 he released ‚ÄúScared of Boom‚Äù on buddy label, Memento Records and after Magda and Troy Pierce adopted the tracks in their club sets, Benedettini crossed over to the receiving end of Items & Things in 2011 with his first EP release, "Tell Me Quietly‚Äù.

As a newbie in the field, he has swiftly accelerated with a fine ear for music and a versatile style ranging from disco tech house and dark disco of the 80s, to new wave and minimal. Benedettini keeps his vintage beats fresh and current with Ableton and Logic software utilizing synthesizers, drums and electric bass as well as other instuments. 

With Miami Winter Music Conference, Fabric, Rex Club and Nuits Sonores pumping on the tour circuit plus upcoming releases steaming in the pot, Benedettini is charging the electronic music waters with grace and speed.

You know Dirtybird for dropping basslines and creating smiles on the dance floor since January 2005.

The fun family vibe of the Dirtybird label can be traced back to a free event started in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. This new kind of house music went against the smooth vocal house that was popular at the time and derived its influences mostly from hip-hop, drum n bass, and American funk. The free outdoor BBQ party was very rough around the edges but eventually became legendary amongst the people of San Francisco. This event was also a very influential factor in the decision by Claude VonStroke to start the record label in 2005.

Today, Dirtybird has offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles and has expanded into events and tour production. As it grows, the brand continues to expand beyond music into merchandise, licensing and artist management. In 2015, Dirtybird launched the inaugural Dirtybird Campout festival, which has been dubbed “Summer Camp For Adults”, and Dirtybird has been recognized from their achievements by being awarded "Underground Label of the Year" at the International Dance Music Awards, “Label of the Decade” by Mixmag, “Best North American Label” by DJ Mag, and Billboard’s "Top 5 Independent Dance Labels".

Gabriel Ferreira is a multifaceted artist in the music world: DJ, producer, remixer, and co-owner of the label Ninefont Music. Inspired by indie and retro music, he brings his own creative touch with a unique style. His work is characterized by fresh perspectives and innovative rhythms, blending sounds ranging from funk to techno.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Gabriel has always been drawn to older musical rhythms. His career as a producer began at the age of 18 when he was introduced to musical instruments and software, driven by the desire to create his own musical journey. From the start, his work was considered extravagant and evolutionary, consistently pushing boundaries with fresh, innovative sounds.

In 2011, Gabriel signed with Items & Things, a label led by Magda, Troy Pierce, and Marc Houle, releasing his first track, “Sill.” Two years later, he released his second EP, “Good Trip,” which perfectly encapsulated the essence of his musical style. Since then, Gabriel has worked tirelessly to refine his productions, with nearly 20 single releases across various digital and vinyl labels, including Items & Things, Ninefont, Creepy Finger Records, Maleza, Piso Records, This Side Up, and LDG.

As a DJ, Gabriel has performed in cities across the globe, playing at some of the biggest clubs, including Warung (Brazil), Baum (Colombia), Mandarine Park (Argentina), Bahrein (Argentina), Cocoliche (Argentina), Superclub (Argentina), Crobar (Argentina), Sisyphos (Germany), Wilden Renate (Germany), Elefant (Norway), Faraway (Peru), among others. He was also a key figure in Crobar’s transition to techno in Argentina, holding a residency from 2012 to 2015 and sharing the stage with global techno icons such as Magda, Marc Houle, Troy Pierce, Camea, John Acquaviva, Dustin Zahn, The Junkies, Phil Kieran, Stefano Noferini, Hobo, DJ Anna, Jonas Kopp, and Jay Lumen, among others.

Together with his brother Javier, Gabriel co-runs Ninefont, a label focused on minimal, techno, and disco music. Thanks to their patience, passion, and keen ear for quality music, Ninefont has gained respect worldwide, offering a distinctive concept from the Argentine electronic scene with a sound that leans closer to the styles of Berlin and Paris. Currently, their main challenge is to develop a musical concept that resonates globally, which is the core philosophy behind the label.

In 2017, Gabriel released the Karma and Sangomic EPs, both of which had a major impact on charts and dancefloors around the world. That same year, Gabriel was nominated by DJ Mag Latinoamerica as one of the top Argentinian techno producers, while Ninefont was recognized as the best label of the year.

Currently based between Buenos Aires and El Calafate, Argentina, Gabriel continues to focus on his musical vision, with exciting releases and gigs lined up for 2025.

Some follow trends, others set them. Award-winning music producer & live performer Rodriguez Jr. also known as Olivier Mateu has spent 25 years in the industry. His vast experience in all genres of electronic music makes him the visionary of melodic house and techno that he is today.
Over the years he has gradually honed his style into the dynamic, colorful sound of beauty that can now be regularly found on Mobilee, Anjunadeep, Systematic, Armada and demanded for on remixes of Stephan Bodzin, Booka Shade, Eli & Fur, Röyksopp, NTO, Timo Maas and more.

Drawing inspiration for his live performances from the vintage synthesizers, keyboards and dusty analog gear of his studio in Paris, Rodriguez Jr. relishes the opportunity to travel the globe and realise his project on stage. In doing so he has amassed a devoted and loyal fan base through the creation of his unique movement. Some of the most recent acclaimed shows featured huge festival performances at Sziget (Hungary), Lightning in A Bottle and CRSSD (both California), Paraiso and Sonar Festival (both Spain). Continuing to blur the boundaries between electronic and organic like few others can, his extensive touring schedule sees Mateu at world-renowned clubs every week, taking him to the likes of Solumun’s party at Destino Ibiza, Fabric London and Space Miami.

Not stopping there, Rodriguez Jr. has formed a special musical partnership with former Nouvelle Vague vocalist Liset Alea. The pair met 15 years ago creating music for Laurent Garnier´s label, and through their ongoing live RJLA project, they tell sonic stories, fusing organic charms of live instrumentation with cutting-edge music for the dancefloor and presenting this at selected events. This culminated in an extraordinary audio/visual display for broadcast pioneers Cercle, with a unique performance at the carefully selected idyllic location of Falaises d’Etretat, showcasing their captivating live electronics.

On the production front, Mateu has continued to have an exceptional output, with his last release on Mobilee Radian entering the Beatport top ten within three days following release. Another highlight was his full Anjunadeep debut on the eclectic double-cut entitled Phoenix/Amargosa. Alongside this his remixes have also been received with equal merit on labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Systematic or Poker Flat. His latest reworking of Eli & Fur on Anjunadeep made it to number three of the Beatport melodic house & techno chart. On Spotify, his music reaches an audience of 625,000 listeners each month and continues to grow every week.

Magda is amongst the most high-profile and in demand artists, having proven herself as a consistent, adventurous and exceptional performer, with a knack for bringing music together in unexpected ways.
Magda's realm as an artist pans far beyond the typical role of DJ and producer. With an open mind, Magda will try her hand at whatever feels right – from music technology collaborations and events to producing premium Tequila - creating a truly unique, multifaceted expression of herself.
Born in Poland and raised in Detroit, Magda discovered beauty and inspiration in Detroit’s raw urban landscape. In 1998, she joined the Minus label and began touring as Richie Hawtin's main DJ.
Since her first international tour in 2003, Magda established herself globally as an artist known for pushing musical boundaries and expressing her unique style. She released her forward-thinking DJ mix album 'She's A Dancing Machine' in 2006, followed by her debut artist album ‘From The Fallen Page’ in 2010 among other single releases. Magda’s remix work includes Plastikman and Depeche Mode and DJ mix albums for Fabric, Balance, as well as a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, among others.
In 2006, Magda established the Items & Things label and booking agency with Troy Pierce and Marc Houle.
In 2017, she launched the Perm event series in Berlin. Sitting pretty at the crossroads between art and club culture, Perm was a collective initiated by Magda and established in the name of artistic cross-pollination with a very strong multimedia aesthetic. Guests included Atom TM, Burnt Friedman, Jan Jelinek, and Cristian Vogel.
Recently, Magda has produced and performed alongside T.B. Arthur as Blotter Trax. The Blotter Trax live show combines modular synthesis, live improvisation and rhythmic exploration. Performance highlights have included live audio- visual duets with video artist Lillevan (Morton Subotnick, Christian Fennesz) and a recent club tour of Japan which saw the duo performing live and transitioning into Magda’s signature DJ sets.

Jens Lewandowski started his musical career with sharp focus maintaining, developing and improving his style over the years. What began as a (still unbroken) passion for music, has been inspired by big names like Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner, Dapayk or Richie Hawtin and, so, made him a big name himself.

His mixture of quaking techno and minimalist additions makes him light of foot on a rocky trail.This DJ loves the contrast minimal techno has to offer. How successful he puts this love into his sound shows his biography up to today.

Jens Lewandowski plays at the big German cities, is a regular and well known guest in clubs like Tresor, Suicide Circus oder Sisyphos in Berlin und, last but not least, spreads his sound abroad and at festivals like the Helene Beach.

The base for this steep rise is surely his talent for producing. Already in 2006 the vinyl lover started to produce tracks independently. Releases like Do Not Stand, Panopal, Back Again or Funny Face made fellow musicians sit up. Finally, in 2015, he scored a coup when he and Alfred Heinrichs released the „Super EP“ (2015 Supdub Records), which rated highly in the Beatport charts for weeks. Further releases came on Creepy Finger Records, Phobos Records, plunk! and Treibjagd Records.

All this and numerous remixes show how busy but yet passionate this guy is - and he will bring off a lot more for sure.
