The fourth show in the Cyrk series ‘Pattern Compulsions’ curated for Resonance 104.4FM, is an exclusive mix from Mark Harwood, (born 1972, Ferntree Gully, Vic).

Having dabbled in the oblique end of sonic arts for 20 years Mark is currently a publisher of books and music. Formally owner and proprietor of Synaesthesia records, Australia, he published works by Hecker, Robin Fox, Francis Plagne and Bernard Parmegiani amongst others. Currently based in London he runs Penultimate Press which has published 3 books of writings and artwork by Graham Lambkin and also distributes Lambkin's 'Kye' label. Future PP output includes vinyl releases by Henning Christiansen (split with Kye), Jacques Brodier and Marco Fusinato. Mark is also working on a full length album which will see the light of night in 2012.

Gaspare Sammartano is an Italian underground musician and sound maker. His solo work is focused on gathering and manipulation of tapes and reflecting on the evolution of modern sampling techniques. 
He is also part of the Canti Magnetici label team.
