A song written by my brother Andy and dedicated to our mother Val who passed away earlier this year.

At our mothers written request, Andy, my sister Sharon and old family friend Bop Bell performed this song at the funeral. It was a deeply moving experience and as I watched and and listened, I decided that I needed to share in this expression of love for our mother as well.

Andy used to perform this song with his outfit, The Band That Couldn't Plough Straight, and I have simply followed the arrangement from the recording on his album called Taxi. I have borrowed a small snippet of his acoustic guitar part and the outro melody is based on Veren's violin with the very last few notes fading to Andy and Veren's outro.

My partner and soul mate Susana has chipped in on the backing vocal as well.
