You probably know this melody. I have always enjoyed the excitement of it and even though tons of people have already covered and remixed it, I still wanted to do a D00d version. I sampled three famous versions (The Shadows, Jørgen Ingmann & Incredible Bongo Band), pitched them to the same root key, warped them to a grid and blended them together with my big beat inspired D00d sound. Wubcore Orchestra are Robert Wingfield, guitarist from leeds based funk, beats band, Man about a dog and Asher Ashan, co-founder of the audio/visual psytrance/techno outfit Ashan project. both in their own rights have had impacts on the northern underground party scene, so using this experience, two minds have been bashed and together from a wide range of musical influences have created a forward thinking take on harder edged electronic music with a strong focus towards fun mash ups, breakcore, hardcore, amen, bass, gabba and experimental beats!
