When a lone crow crowed and a cold wind heaved
Two dj’s wandered down a dark bricked road
Feigning courage, yet their fear had showed
Until they came upon the Trickster’s crossing
Where the eyes of devils were said to be glossing.
Something brushed Geck-o’s fingertips 
Something kissed D00d’s lips 
As those Somethings laughed with a dark, sultry voice
(Two devils;) “What do we have here? Two lost, young DJ boys? 
Did you break your dj gear, mute your inner ear? 
Or did you, Devil forbid, come here by choice?”
(Geck-o;) “We got lost, we got so very lost!
We don’t know where the halloween party is at, 
where we we’re told to play a set…
Devil or demon, please help us, whatever the cost…”
(D00d;) “Lost? Us? No no, we didn’t get lost!
The party, it’s here, at this crossroads space! 
Can’t you see? there’s even a dj booth in this place!” 
(Storyteller;) The devils grinned and said, 
(two devils;) “oh you poor, poor things!
Don’t worry, we can help you become the party kings.
This parchment here, this will be our pact 
Just sign your names here, here and not here, on the contract.” 
(D00d;) “what’s the catch here? What’s even our gain?”
(Storyteller;) D00d said as Geck-o yelled 
(Geck-o;) “well I bet they’ve got a soul train!”
(Storyteller;) The two cats danced as the boys signed up
With the black crow feather from a red ink cup
(Two devils;) “we’ll get you there in a jiffy! 
Though losing your soul might feel a little iffy…”
(D00d;) “Wait a minute… what??!!” 
(Storyteller;) D00d yelled
(D00d;) “Did we just sell our souls? Are we going to hell?”
(Storyteller;) Geck-o grabbed his arm, startled and afraid
But the deed was done and the deal was made
Suddenly, 
the wind slowed down and the crow’s crowing stopped
A funky crowd appeared and the stage rose up
Turns out, the funky cats’s party was there all along
Now it’ll be time soon for our DJ boys… to play you some funky songs!
(Devils;)“do you want a party to never forget?
Do you want talent, riches, or just travel wherever your dancing feet could get?
Come to the crossroads, and maybe a devil or two
Will make you sign a pact to make your dreams come true!” 
(Newscaster or storyteller;) Side effects include getting lost on a scary road, getting tricked by one sexy devil, paranoia, getting tricked by two sexy devils, confusion, eventual regret, getting a cold from the heaving wind, tinnitus, chronic dancing disorder, sore feet, visual hallucinations, auditory hallucinations, euphoria, pronoia and selling your soul for eternity.

'Housenation (Don't Stop!)' is an ultimate energy bomb, carelessly throwing around kicks, basslines, noisey synthesizers and classic 90s samples. There's barely any time to catch a break on this one... Another feature on the release is 'Ermahgerd', a glamourous track featuring not-so-subtle hints of 80s aesthetics. With illegal compressor techniques, inspired by the classic Benassi sound, Geck-o pumps up the basslines to the max. Bonus ad-lib by Christina on top!

I sampled three famous versions (The Shadows, Jørgen Ingmann & Incredible Bongo Band), pitched them to the same root key, warped them to a grid and blended them together with my big beat inspired D00d sound.
