Balburdia na Quarentena

Amante de música erudita desde garoto, Diou descobriu o techno há uns 3 anos e, desde então, tem vivido uma intensa e acelerada caminhada desde clubber a DJ entusiasta underground. Frequentador da cena paulistana, tem atuado como membro do coletivo “BecoMadre”, sua principal referência e espaço de atuação. Sua pesquisa transita entre rompantes acelerados, percussivos e bastante ácidos, em contraste com melodias bucólicas, passando por um techno mais industrial, pelas batidas quebradas e pelos sons obscuros do electro clássico.

A classical music lover since his early childhood, Diou discovered techno about 3 years ago and, since then, has lived an intense and accelerated journey from a clubber to an underground enthusiast DJ. As a regular on the Sao Paulo scene, he is an active member of BecoMadre collective, his main reference and actuation base. His musical research goes through very accelerated and disruptive crescendos, acid and percussive elements in full contrast with bucolic melodies, that embrace a more industrial techno along with break beats and the darker elements found in classical electro.

O som de gabness é orientado pela busca em atmosferas hipnotizantes e enérgicas, batidas progressivas e grooves nebulosos.

Iniciando suas pesquisas e desenvolvimento de mixes em 2020, suas inspirações remetem aos anos 70 e 80 com presença de sintetizadores , acid e graves retos, sempre elaborados para criar uma ambientação suspeita e instigante.

Recentemente Gabness entrou para a equipe do coletivo Filhes como DJ residente e produtor cultural, onde busca colaborar com projetos profissionais na captação novos artistas e espaços. 

No ano de 2024 gabness se mudou e agora mora em Florianópolis.

Gabness's sound is driven by the search for mesmerizing and energetic atmospheres, progressive beats and hazy grooves. 

Starting his research and development of mixes in 2020, his inspirations go back to the 70s and 80s with the presence of synthesizers, acid and straight bass, always designed to create a suspicious and thought-provoking ambiance. 

Gabness recently joined the Filhes collective team as a resident DJ and cultural producer, where he seeks to collaborate with professional projects in attracting new artists and spaces. 

In 2024 Gabness moved and now lives in Florianópolis.
