Paita is a project of musician and sound producer Kolya Dolgov, currently living in Moscow.

In 2021 the album "What is not" was released, which became the starting point in the formation of the young artist's style and sound.
Experiments with dub and ambient, explorations of "raw" electronics and new-age, participation in punk bands as a bass-guitarist, moves, travelling, meetings and breakups, love and hate. The line of changes through which both the musician and his lyrical hero passes stretches to the new release "Southern Man".

"Southern Man" is an album-metamorphosis, it is a story or better to say a notebook, about the changes that a young guy goes through. Accustomed to seeing the emptiness of the horizon, he is met with monolithic granite structures, and instead of the great water of the sea, there is now a river winding subtly in channels. 'It's what's inside, but you can listen to it' says Пайта (Paita).

The album features collaborations with label residents FMSAO, Shoom Berez, X.Y.R. , NWIII, as well as guest artists 8luetic and Молох. Here you can hear gentle pop ambient, uncomplicated balearic house, juke and dub.

A quickfire follow-up to the recently released set of unreleased braindance damage Rave ‘Till You Cry, this mixtape sees up-and-coming electronic producer 8Ball (Grade10) unleashed on Bodgan’s classic Rephlex catalogue. Taking tracks from 99’s Samurai Math Beats through to 07’s Alright!, he stitches together a seamless hour-long journey through Bogdan’s alien melodies and off-centre rhythms, augmented with liberal doses of FX and amen breaks.

8Ball has established a name for himself in recent years through 2 excellent EPs that explore the intersection of ambient, jungle and hardcore. He’s a key member of Leicester’s Grade10 crew whose activities include a label, radio show, the Back To Life parties, and the recently opened Out Of Joint record shop. 

Raczynski arrived on the scene in 1999 with not one but three albums released in quick succession that year alone on Rephlex Records, a unique operator even by Braindance standards, rumoured to have been discovered by Aphex Twin whilst sleeping rough in Tokyo. A steady stream of records followed, hyperactive broadsides of percussion set off by a winning knack for the buried earworm melody, much like his mentor RDJ. He also memorably collaborated with Björk and remixed Autechre for Warp's 10+3 compilation. Rave ‘Till You Cry was his first album release in 12 years and has drawn praise from the likes of Resident Advisor (“Charming miniatures of rabid breaks and wistful melody”) and DJ Mag (“fantastically frenzied and futuristic”).
