Dada Ante Portas is a rockband from Lucerne, Switzerland. It is, indeed, a very good rockband. One that never misses the melodies. Some people might call the sound of Dada Ante Portas pop or powerpop. Be it as it is. The band's intention, however, is to reach both hearts and bottoms. So the range of the songs goes from heavy rocking riffs down to lovely ballads. And the older the band gets, the less it cares for current trends. 

Of course the band is a bunch of music geeks listening to music all the time. But as it is with old steam trains: they go steady at their own speed.

After six records four of which entered the Top 5 of the Swiss Charts, after countless gigs in Switzerland, France, Germany, Danmark, Austria and China there is no need to be afraid to be out of fashion. Dada Ante Portas is fashion of its own kind.

The band is currently working on its seventh album.
