Marcelo Solis has been dj since 2000 and he always cultivated the best musical flavour. With early influences of best classic house music (Danny Tenaglia, Danny Rampling, etc), in best progressive house too (Bedrock, Hooj Choons, etc), motivated by Sasha, when he saw him for first time in Punta del Este Uruguay in 2000. Today his set's reflects his style and his preference for House, Tech House, and Techno plenty of groovy basslines and percussions, with an excellent ability for Warm Up set's and a special dedication like Headliner. He has played in several places, like, Exxim and Z (Formosa-Argentina), Clubhouse, LaBelle (Resistencia-Argentina), Belha Bruxa (Corrientes-Argentina), Shooters (Puerto Iguazu-Argentina), FabriKa, Caracol, Deja Vu, Tantrum and Lotus (Asuncion-Paraguay), Festival BUE and Pacha in (Buenos Aires), He has made parties called Our House and shared dj booth with Argentinean Dj's like Luis Callegari (aka Cutlab of Harlem Records, UK - Big Chief Records, US), Mariano Trocca (Arjaus Records), Ricky Ryan (aka Can Costa of Babylon, Music Is Freedom, Vapuorise, Proton Radio), Juan Pablo Pfirter (aka Plantec of Huron Records, Mindtrip Music), Paul Velvet (aka Jay West of Flavour, My Best Friend), Violett (Unfound Records), Drole &amp; Lavoiseur, RoMix, Alex Russo, also with many dj's from cities near where he lives like Juan Manuel Rosso (Club House - Resistencia), Dario Orrego (La Belle - Resistencia), Daniel Rios (Pacha - Resistencia)and among others. Marcelo has appeared in BUE Festival the 29th of May 04 in the Club City of Buenos Aires, with a concurrence about of 15,000 people, sharing poster next to international bands and Dj's like Massive Attack, Andrew Fletcher (in Dj format), Junior Sanchez, Rinocerose, The Human League, Slacker, the best exponents of the Argentinean electronic scene: Gustavo Cerati, Miranda, Roken, Adicta, Intima, Los Sueños De Anderson. In that opportunity he shared stage booth with Manuel Sahagun, Hernan Cerbello, D+D and FC Kahuna, and many others. 2005 found Marcelo of great performances and good presentations, like the mythical Pacha club after its explosive re-opening he has shared main floor with Luis Callegari in a traditional AET parties. (<a href="http://aetlink.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">aetlink.com</a>), also repeated visits to the Bar Labelle well-known dance club in northeast of Argentina, Tantrum and Caracol in Asuncion Paraguay. In 2007 he was invited to a dance music festival called Electropark, with a concurrence about 8.000 people, and shared the dj booth with Diego Ro-K, Martin Huergo, Carlos Ruiz, Jr Pachame and among others. Also his sets are playing all over the world, in differents radio stations like Azeméis FM - Portugal (<a href="http://www.azfm.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.azfm.com</a>) in Tronik Sessions Show, Beatbox FM (<a href="http://www.beatbox.fm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.beatbox.fm</a>) - Buenos Aires in Sound Trails Show, FM Acqua - Pinamar, Buenos Aires, <a href="http://RadioDeepSounds.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">RadioDeepSounds.com</a>, GlobalstationFM (<a href="http://www.globalstation.com.ar" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.globalstation.com.ar</a>) - Buenos Aires in a Show hosted by Juan Pablo Pfirter, with huge support by his listeners.

Deep house was largely pioneered by Chicago producers such as Marshall Jefferson (On The House) and Larry Heard (Mr. Fingers) and with tracks such as "Mystery of Love" (1985) and "Can You Feel It?" and (1986);[1] the latter had a similar impact on deep house as Derrick May's "Strings Of Life" (1987) did on Detroit techno.[2] Heard's deep house sound moved house music away from its posthuman tendencies back towards the lush soulful sound of early disco music (particularly that of old Philadelphia International and Salsoul records).[3]

Later period deep house tracks (1993—94) were more heavily influenced by disco and even merged into a disputable disco house genre.[citation needed] Modern deep house (post-2000) often shares features with the related genre of tech house but tends to focus on musical complexity where tech house focuses on simplicity.[citation needed]

Helder Teixeira has spent years fine-tuning his music winning formula.

"I always had a non-dj approach of djing, in the sense that when playing i am not focussing on making the floor go crazy or focussing on the idea of always keeping the energy level up, up, up!
But i am very passionate about sharing with the crowd what i think are the dopest records of the moment or the dopest classics.

In that sense i’m not pretending to be “right” or “wrong” and i will not make 100% of everybody happy, but i feel that my duty is to inform people of what’s really hot, would it be timeless classics or brand new records.
I’m always trying to present to people a little bit of the history of “my” beloved House and Techno , as i tend to do so by playing very personal “classics” not the Hits from the past but very unique jams that in my mind represent the essence of what is magic in House and Techno."


Born in 1980, Helder Teixeira sparked interest in music early, starting his career in 1992. Began to be known as Dj Narcotic. His musical style was techno and played at private parties for friends.

In 1994 opted for Acid House, playing themes of Phuture, Fast Eddie, DJ Pierre, DJ Camacho and many others. After just over a year, gives himself completely, the whole slope House!

Until today, has played in some emblematic portuguese clubs like as: "Penha Club", "Opera-Prima" (Famalicão), "Hit" (Pov. Varzim), "Tipografia" (Famalicão), "Swing" (Pov. Lanhoso) "Enseada" (Pov. Varzim), "Botequim" (Braga), "House Kaffé" (Braga), "Astória" (Braga), "Barbieri" (Braga), "Amo-te Braga" (Braga), "Black Jack "(Vilamoura)," Romania III (Vilamoura) "," Estação da Luz "(Aveiro) and events such as: The Week In A Paradise Called Portugal - 1996, Enterro da Gata 1998 and Queima das Fitas 2000, Mit Penha and Twins Praia. He shared the booth with names like as: Dj Vibe, Rui Vargas, Jiggy, Luís "XL" Garcia, Mario Roque, Tó Ricciardi, and many others.

Influenced by artists like: "Little" Louie Vega, Francois K, Joe Claussell, DJ Deep, Julien Jabre, Dj Vibe, Danny Krivit, Terry Hunter, Frankie Knuckles, Tito Puente, Mr V, Ron Trent, Kyle Eastwood and many others! Helder Teixeira thus achieves a fusion of styles, ranging from Deep House, Tech House and Techno.
