COMFORTING GOLDEN SUNSHINE

Another piece with my friend @rosindust. Almost a tango. Or even a wordless love song.
And we are proud to say that it is a real home recording: I recorded guitars and double-bass in bedroom and she recorded her violin in the next room, the kitchen... just 6400 km away :)

Happy 2022 everyone 🥳! Hope it’s a great year for you. 

Was listening to Porter Robinson's song "Something Comforting" and Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" and thought to myself, 'I would love to combine two of my favourite songs from two of my favourite artists together with a sprinkle of Decan Usmic'. 

You might not like this due to the different genres of these artists… But I hope you like it and thank you as always for listening and for your support.

Well, how lucky am I !  So thrilled to have been able to collaborate with Oddrun and Debra on this classic folk ballad.  Its always been one of my favorites.  Oddrun's tender vocal really captures the regret of the poem, and Debra's piano arrangement is the perfect companion to that wonderful voice.  I do hope you'll like our folk jazz rendition.

Missing Swallows

When https://soundcloud.com/dneye asked me for a track to play his fantastic guitars on, I brainstormed this 5/4 piece with odd chord set in order to make it difficult to him and thus get the best from his skills. After programming it, I added some organic solos (yep I played keys) to make it seem more friendly ;))))

And he... succeeded in the challenge, overcoming all my expectations !!!

I tried to capture the dawn of a forest,when the first sun rays wakes every living creature of the forest,this is basically how i would like to wake up every morning,if you listen carefully you can hear bird tweeting in the beginning.
I dedicate this track to a Soundcloud user I met last year,his work is really good,experienced composer that gave me the motivation I needed at the time.
Thank you Luppi Davide Como,hopefully one day ill compose a piece as grandeur as some of yours,kind regards.
