Almost on a daily basis I am told by one Soundcloud user after another that my music is crap, that I have zero talent....what do you think? Are they right, or is it a case of sour grapes? And do you think I take it to heart :) No! What's heartbreaking for all of us is....WHEN NO ONE LISTENS!

SEVERAL MUSICIANS HAVE SUGGESTED I'M A IN A GENRE OF MY OWN, WHICH HAS TO BE THE ULTIMATE ACHIEVEMENT FOR A MUSICIAN!

MY APPROACH HAS ALWAYS BEEN, LET WHATEVER WANTS TO COME OUT, COME OUT; NO PLAN, NO BOUNDARIES, NO FORMULA, AND ON THE FLY! 

With so many people making music--literally tens of millions--there is a serious overcrowding problem, creating a wall of white noise; to stand out from that background, a musician must bring something very different to the table :)

HOPE THE DAY EVENTUALLY ARRIVES WHEN INNOVATION ONCE AGAIN REPLACES REGURGITATION, BUT, IN THE MEANTIME, IMITATION AND REGURGITATION CONTINUES TO GRAB THE AUDIENCE, WHICH IS BAD NEWS FOR THOSE OF US WHO INJECT OUR REAL PERSONALITIES INTO OUR TUNES :)

I COME FROM ONE OF THE MOST INSIGNIFICANT PLACES ON THE PLANET, CREWE! NO BAND OR MUSIC, OR ANY ARTIST REPRESENTING ANY OF THE ARTS, OF ANY SIGNIFICANCE EVER CAME FROM CREWE, AND I KIND OF LIKE THAT; A CREATIVE GIANT EVOLVING FROM A TOTALLY STERILE ENVIRONMENT :)

These tunes were all recorded between 1997 and 2001, mostly in Palma, Mallorca.  Most of them were recorded using a Yamaha XG soundcard, XG Works (as my DAW) and a mini midi controller keyboard.

It's a shame Soundcloud wasn't about then as I might not have stopped producing for over ten years.

Anyway, I'm back on it now and producing fresh stuff almost daily over at my main page, the link to which you will find below if you look very carefully!
