he latest release from Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Dizharmonia back to the label with a new EP. Hailing from Athens, the Greek duo first appeared on the label in February of 2018 with their well received 'Trigonon' EP. 2019 then saw Dizharmonia return to Movement, delivering a stunning remix of Wielki's 'Excelsior'. Firmly established in the world of melodic house and techno, the duo lays claim to an impressive resume, highlighted by releases on Beatfreak Recordings, Steyoyoke, Stil Vor Talent and Timeless Moment. Now making a welcome return to Movement, the duo presents their 'Alkahest' EP alongside remixes from Alex Preda and Binaryh.

Continuing to diversify their portfolio, Dizharmonia join forces with Eleonora on the title and showcase piece 'Alkahest'. Once again operating at a creative peak, the Greek duo crafts an astral storyboard of punchy beats, striking electronics and fiery percussion. It's this dramatic concoction which perfectly sets the stage for Eleonora's heavenly vocals. Ghostly and emotive in equal measure, they descend over the pulsating framework, while sections of cosmic effects advance the storyboard. Shifting further into poignant territory the grandiose break delivers just the right combination of tension and emotion, before a wall of glassy arps provide an energy bridge into a purring finale. City Nights, City Lights is a slick tune that brims with the sort of late night energy and neon lights you would expect given its title. Broad bass brings drama and the hustling and bustling drums keep things moving forward as the city narrative unfolds. Sean & Dee is an Italian DJ/producer duo based in Sorrento, Naples. They have a characteristic sound, combining influences of progressive house and techno and show that here with a remix which ups the ante, charges ahead and brings a Serengetis techno vibe. The drums are powerful, the synths are electric and the track will make a huge impact.

The original version is a far-sighted techno track with astral synths. It gets you in a daze and has you lost in a reverie of pads and rolling kicks, while the angelic vocal floats up top and adds layers of human emotion. The remix is more tense, with edgy synths looping beneath crashing hits. Progressive, cinematic, and well designed!

Multi-instrumentalist DJ/Producer Joone teams up with Brazilian DJ Victor C. and British Singer/Songwriter 1403 creating a true Indie Dance E.P.

The Affair, twisted by temptation, poisoned by realities, a scourge of pain in tandem. 1403 freefalls with the menacing bass, pacing like a stalker, desperate for a glimpse. Escaping with a shot, the synth melodies swirl like a strong whiskey hit.

Marcus Worgull Remix strips the track to tinkling glasses by the velvet lounge where a sophisticated mystery woman grabs his face in her hands, before taking him down and throwing him out onto the street, his shirt half buttoned.

Sobek Remix pushes us back to the dance floor with a dusty padded kick, that thumping bass, and pulls 1403 vocals from a hat to drive the dark truth of how The Affair ended.

Distance. Running past brambles and headstones, 1403 is taunted by the woman driving him to wild indecency. Sparse serious percussion, live bass and winding analog synths punctuate memories, far out of reach. Wrangled by the arpeggiators in the 5 AM mix, 1403 can't help himself.
