Chilean-born Francisco Allendes returns to Crosstown Rebels for the first time in six years this May. Serving up the three-track What You Do, the title number has already received global airplay via Damian Lazarus himself. Now, the full release will be made available next month and includes a remix by US-legend Harry Romero.

“What You Do is one of those tracks that happens magically on a jam and you can't really make it much better after that. I wrote it during the pandemic, so I wanted to create a weapon for when clubs would open again. Maratone came about the day after I played b2b with Matthias Tanzmann for thirteen hours, at the birthday of a friend in Ibiza. I sent both tracks to Damian and didn’t hear back from him for a few months... then I woke up to his WhatsApp message. It was a video of him playing What You Do at Space Miami and people climbing the walls of the club!” - Francisco Allendes.

A contemporary dose of four-on-the-floor house, What You Do leaves few prisoners in its wake, as rampant drum patterns converge on a heady combination of kicks, synths and irresistible vocals right the way through. There’s an infectious energy to the track, paving the way for Harry Romero’s similarly up-tempo remix. It’s feel-good, club ready dance music at its best, packed full of low-slung groove that opens neatly into the closing sequence: Maratone, a stripped-back, techy cut that bears all the hallmarks of a true Ibiza anthem.

Hailing from Chile and now based in Ibiza, Francisco Allendes is a leading light in today’s scene. Be it Loco Dice’s Desolat, Steve Lawler’s VIVA or Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels, his productions have graced some of the industry’s most well-respected labels. Such quality hasn’t gone unnoticed - he picked up the ‘Best Ibiza’ DJ Award in September 2019 and has gone on to complete several South American tours. A much loved affiliate of ANTS, Francisco has a long standing residency at both Ushuaïa in Ibiza and their affiliated tours, in addition to hosting the weekly radio show.

Seminal American house talent Harry Romero is a well-established figure on the worldwide music circuit. A prominent global DJ and producer since the ‘90s, early productions on Cutting Records and Cutting Traxx helped set the tone for Harry’s career trajectory, opening the doors to a coveted BBC Radio 1 ‘Essential Mix’ in recent years.

'Sunday Noise makes his debut up on Steve Lawler’s VIVa LiMITED label with ‘Un Poco Mas Duro’ EP.

Sunday Noise, Rodrigo Carranza, is the 20 year old DJ/Producer born, raised and based in Peru. He is fast becoming a rising talent to watch out for within the electronic music scene in South America and beyond. 

An impressive run of releases to date on labels including La Pera Records, Muse, Nervous Records, Avotre and Glasgow Underground have pathed the way for his impressive debut release with VIVa. 

It’s not just the notable roster of labels that have been showcasing his music, further backing comes from an impressive who’s who of names lighting up dancefloors around the world. Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers, Nic Fanciulli, Yaya, wAFF, Richy Ahmed, Michael Bibi, Jamie Jones have all shown support for the Peruvians productions.

Opener and title track ‘Un Poco Mas Duro’ is an all-out peak time rolling tech house assault on the sound system and on the dancefloor. Driving basslines paired with pumping percussion ensure this one is absolutely rocking from open to close.

Keeping the energy moving, ‘Everyman’ leads with tribal influenced percussion showing a deeper tech influence within Sundays sound. Male rap vocals lead with authority highlighting the producers ambition to cross genres and experiment to keep his style evolving and developing. 

Closing out the EP, tracks ‘Something That I Can’t Explain’ featuring Paul Trelles and ‘Ahora’ featuring David Ink, sees Sunday inviting two fellow Peruvians to the release showcasing that the Peruvian sound and scene is one to keep a close eye on with some real emerging talent coming through thick and fast.

Always on the hunt for something new and inspiring, Otis merges his sound seamlessly, combining different elements from all genres into a quality that you can hear and feel in his productions. His deep love for music, a playful approach, and a unique way of thinking outside the box are slowly but surely shaping his profile in the Dance scene with his releases having found homes on an impressive line-up of labels including PRIMA, Incorrect, Club Sweat, ORIGINS, Kittball and Moon Harbour.

'Kicking off the release, fast-rising talent Ben Walsh returns to Sola for his second outing on the label. This time he delivers the hotly anticipated track ‘Shake’ which delivers an undulating flurry of punchy drum work and rattling percussive flair alongside subtly rising Classic House melodies with a tropical twist. Expect uplifting vibes and unrelenting danceability from the outset. 

The track ‘Shake’ was first played by label bosses Solardo at Creamfields earlier this summer and was instantly signed following the crowds reaction to the track. 

Sola returns with another killer compilation, featuring a spirited selection of previously unreleased tracks and well-received label favourites. Sola is delighted to present 2022’s edition of its first ever end of year compilation, featuring a host of incredible tracks – some freshly squeezed and others that have been doing the damage in clubs globally since release.
