A man who needs no introduction in the Dance scene, UK based DJ and producer, Josh Butler, makes his debut on Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records imprint this July with the brand new, 'Fuck The Regs' EP. Having firmly established himself as one of House music's most revered talents, Josh has seen his releases land on established labels including Crosstown Rebels, Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, Rejected, Knee Deep In Sound and Armada Subjekt, boasting remixes for the likes of Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox and Joris Voorn all whilst playing numerous Ibiza residencies, festival sets including Glastonbury, SW4, Parklife, Secret Garden Party, and multiple European, US and Australian Tours. Serious house players Mat.Joe, C'mon and Otistic join forces for 'Gaida', a new tune that has '2023 anthem' written all over it. The excellent 'Gaida' is a full flavour track with stomping bass, layers of percussion and vocal fills, tumbling hits and ear-worm melodies. It is laden with rich sound design and a dynamic groove that is always on the move. The breakdown teases before the drop pleases as more catchy synths pop out of the mix to get hands in the air.

Paul C & Paolo Martini continue a rich history with Moon Harbour as they serve up the superb new single 'Wakan.' 'Wakan' is muscular tech house with a bassline that will rattle the walls of any club. Up top, the groove is driving and detailed, with trippy melodies, clipped vocals and razor-sharp hi-hats. It builds the tension to start with before the vocals burst out next to colourful trumpets and even bigger bass.

EP opener ‘Don’t Tell’ sees once again Ammo’s love for bass-like sounds and stomping beats, creating this unique record filled with swinging drums. As we continue the journey with ‘Vice Versa’ which fuses the 303 acid vibe with 80’s style percussions and contagious vocal grooves. This call / response mix of sounds creates a continuous rise in the mood of the track, managing to get the temperature high on any dance floor. Next comes ‘Yessir’ which cleverly layers a dope horn-like sample through the tune, adding some dark hypnotic vocals to create a magnificent contrast. Razor sharp drums and percs are the perfect match for this one.

Closing out the EP, house music heavyweight Max Chapman joins the party jumping in on remix duties for title track ‘Vice Versa’ with his ‘1990 Mix’. “Break it Down” vocals hit “Bringing the Beat Back” with his 90’s infused driving bassline with one purpose and one purpose only, to fill dancefloors across the globe.
