Antrim’s Or Two Strangers welcomes Andres Moris back to the label for his debut EP. Based in Argentina, Andres Moris has been touted as one of his country’s fastest rising progressive house talents. Although only eighteen months into his production career, the Cordoba resident has already earned the support of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J, while landing releases via 3rd Avenue, Balkan Connection, Droid9 and Movement Recordings. Having made his Or Two Strangers debut in October of last year with a contribution to the labels ‘Strangers 2’ collection, Andres now returns for his first artist showcase entitled ‘Eternal Flame’. 

Getting the release underway and sitting as one of Andre’s most heady productions to date is the title selection ‘Eternal Flame’. Warm beats and a full, rolling groove set the foundation for a narrative of whimsical arps, uniquely tailored percussion and shimmering overlays. Pushing a poignant narrative, cascading melodies and warm bass swells marry beautifully across an expansive break, building emotion with each pass before eventually giving way to a thumping drop and key changing finale. 

Living up to its title, the second selection ‘Stomper’ aims squarely at a peak time dance floor with its romping groove and colourful electronics. Powerful and atmospheric in equal measure, the nine-minute journey delights with supersonic effects and heartfelt overlays carrying the narrative into an exhilarating break. Sizzling modulation continues to build tension, creating a trippy canopy of sound as a rush of noise and drums spark a thunderous drop and epic conclusion.  

Putting on a stamp on this excellent collection are the wavy grooves and gorgeous melodies of ‘The Color of Sounds’. Bright and uplifting throughout, it’s a collage of lively percussion, buoyant chord stabs and kaleidoscopic synth phrases which captivate leading into the break. Wistful themes further the story as the centrepiece unfolds, bringing with them hopeful moods and transcendent vibes, before clustered sonics put your senses on high for an emotive finale. It rounds out three excellent selections from Andres Moris, a fast rising talent who continues to grow into his place as a future progressive music star.

'Techno veteran Petar Dundov makes his debut on Hicky & Kalo's label Plaisirs Sonores Records with his new track 'Neopar', a beautiful deep progressive track filled with atmospheric bells and cosmic pads.

On remix duty, also making his debut on the label, is the renowned Cid Inc. The respected Finnish producer utilizes the melodic touch of the bells from the original track and raises the tempo, creating a peak-time progressive cut.

To close out the package, the label bosses themselves lift the energy on their remix with a blend of dynamic drums and a bouncy bass-line.

Born in Zagreb in the early '70s, Petar Dundov's career in dance music stretches back the best part of 20 years, but it's only in the new millennium that he's been using his own name for his productions. Over the years he's graced many of the world's most prestigious and best-loved techno institutions - including mega-festivals I Love Techno, EXIT, Awakenings and Wire, and cutting-edge clubs like Berghain, Matter (RIP), Womb, Air, Fuse and Space. He counts a long list of heavy labels on his back catalogue like Cocoon, Systematic, SCI+TEC, Music Man, MOOD and Last Night On Earth, to name just a few.

Petar Dundov makes intelligent electronic music that breaks boundaries, moves feet and twists minds. He is without a doubt one of the most inspiring, original and daring producers in electronica, and with the likes of Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier, Dubfire, Nicole Moudaber, Adam Beyer, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, and Danny Tenaglia amongst his fans, it would be hard to disagree.'
