There can be no denying Sergio Muñoz, aka Fur Coat. Now a native of Barcelona, his Venezuelan roots are a reminder of South America’s ever-increasing contribution to the world of electronic music. The fact he has, and continues, to be at the forefront of this Latin surge is testament to his skill and creativity.

It’s also the reason why his relationship with Renaissance continues to endure. With three singles and an album to their collective name, they now join forces once again to present the diverse Dystopia EP.

Dystopia itself is the definition of everything a title track should stand for; a heady mix of Fur Coat’s consistent ability to marry a memorable riff with effortless, production cool. “My intention was a catchy hook that played along with the sub bass,” he confirms, “evoking the classic Renaissance era, but with a modern, yet timeless vibe.” 

To ensure every drop of creative juice was wrung from the track, Sergio and Renaissance invited Musumeci and Dodi Palese to remix it in their unique, indie style. “We were instantly drawn to ‘Dystopia’s’ infectious riff and specifically wanted to celebrate that element,” they explain. 

The EP is completed by Solitary Road, which shifts a stylistic gear into the world of electronica. “It’s been great to see the return of atmospheric breaks in recent years and I really wanted to produce something that would be a worthy entry into the genre,” Sergio humbly explains, “so my focus was once again on the all-important melodies with detuned chords and catchy riffs.”

Transensations Records opens the month of November welcoming RUBEN KARAPETYAN back to the label with the single THE TRUTH , alongside top notch remixes from FELIPE NOVAES, ORNERY , MATT OLIVER & MIND ECHOES. Born in Armenia but now calling Los Angeles home, Ruben Karapetyan quickly emerged as a hyped talent in the trend-driven state of progressive house becoming one of the main genre actual artists. Title theme is anchored by a warm and rippling groove, emerging melodies with a denser and more rhythmic ambience creates a hypnotic atmosphere bound to conquer the dance floor audience. EP from Brazilian artist Felipe Novaes.
Following his contribution to the label’s recent
*Technical Progress* compilation with the emotive “Glimpse of a Time,” Felipe returns with

Hailing from Brazil
, Felipe Novaes has steadily carved out a reputation for emotionally
resonant, melodically rich productions that straddle the lines between Progressive House,

The sun starts shining again and the birds start chirping away which means it's time for the Spring edition of our Seasons series. As always a handful of brand new songs made by artists who unmistakably represent the sound of MNL, and oh boy have we got a stellar selection for you this time!

This time the newcomers and returning artists are nicely divided equally whereas Russian artist Paul Funkee is making his return on the label after some time of absence, and our friends from Argentina Ezequiel Anile and Nicolas Petracca present the first ever release under their new EANP moniker!

At the same time though, we're delighted to welcome living legend Chris Cargo from the U.K. on board for this first time as well as emerging artists Axel Terblanche from South Africa, and Robert Qoe from Australia, making this a proper international affair.

You meet somebody and you instantly know that you have already known each other long ago and always will. True connection is a blessing - overcoming duality by trust, honesty and deep understanding - We call it love.

Seth Schwarz’s Violin pairs easily with the playful and delicate voice of Die Ruhe. Both are taking us to remote places that offer space and time for stories yet untold. A serene oasis as the lead line reminds the listener about the journey from darkness into the light "we'll come again!“ The break its smoothly introduced with a wild Violin Solo followed by a melancholic Vocal Bridge leading into a reminiscing Reprise of Strings, while the whole Arrangements builds up again and erupts into a fountain of Joy.

Every end bears a new beginning. Once experienced it is worth being patient for something as precious to come your way again. "There'll be dozens of souls in the end I'll swear that I know - We'll come again." For sure - with PATIENCE.

Dutch Genius Producer Mees Salomé, who is already known through BBC Radio, being played by nonetheless the Pete Tong is exploring the darker and melancholic side with his interpretation of Die Ruhe’s and Seth Schwarz’s PATIENCE. While giving the piece an epic touch building around the strings and a powerful and wide bass that hovers under the well produced synthesis of synth and vocal, the same key message remains „we will come again!“ and weaves through all the tears into a huge ocean of sounds.

The Australian producer Ryan Oblique, awarded winner of Richie Hawtin’s "Ask Yourself Remix Competition“ fuses the vocals of PATIENCE with a non-conformist attitude together with the lower pitched strings now sounding like Echos of Cellos, into one of his genre-bending productions. In this outstanding production he fluidly paints a picture of pulsating impressions - leaving the fragments of the original bouncing of the walls in a non-90˚ angle. The result is extremely artistic and surely has the potential of becoming an art installation on its own in Berlin.
