'Another artist requiring little in the way of introduction to the Proton faithful, Michael A has also been a regular with a cornucopia of original and remix production material that has lit up the label since February 2017's "Bright Hope" EP. A glittering three-year period followed before the Belarusian embarked on a new chapter with his "Fantasy" series, soon to see a third incarnation with "Volume, 3" on the horizon. Remixes for Andrea Cassino, James Warren and Imran Khan have complemented original production material as Michael now reciprocates with Pole Folder after the Belgian remixed "Orbital" in late 2017. Reimagining "Mara", Michael A uses the rhythmic elements of the original to impressive effect as he creates a new groove around the central clave loop. Evolving in elegant fashion, a swathe of production material introduces new melodies that criss-cross each other in delicate fashion, blossoming into a sparkling arpeggio in the latter stages. Smooth pads and white-noise effects combine with the reversed motif so prominent in Pole Folder's work as the resonant bassline creates a familiar aural stamp.

As "Mara" takes centre stage, Pole Folder showcases a wealth of talent ably supported by GMJ and Matter and Michael A.'

A Particles and Proton Music veteran with a stellar cast of original and remix material over both labels, Gavin Griffin continues to provide the flagship imprint with a regular supply of increasingly high-quality music that saw "Sovereign Reality" and "Catharsis" released in October 2017 and May 2019. Now returning with his third solo original EP, the title track is a typically sumptuous offering that is characterised by a head-shaking groove and expertly crafted bassline that evolves imperceptibly over time. Through a panoply of white-noise effects, multi-layered pads and subtle synth phrasing, "Rise Above" reaches a rousing denouement with spine-tingling moments expertly placed throughout. Continuing the atmospheric narrative of its predecessor, "Unbound Reality" finds free-flowing melodies meandering across its 7-minute voyage alongside intermittent vocal sample. Wrapped delicately around a crisp rhythmic shell, syncopated motifs and powerful beat are the perfect juxtaposition to the unencumbered melody.'

No doubts, the great team formed by the georgian brothers Michael & Levan and the english artist Stiven Rivic (Mistique Music, Kunai Records), has been one of the most relevant symbiosis in the progressive house music scene in the last decade. This time, this trio has joined forces to the well known veteran and awesome artist Rick Pier O'Neil (RPO) to make this Typhoon EP, in their first appearance on Univack.

The EP includes 2 original tracks tittled Typhoon, and Monsoon. Both tracks are a proof of the hi quality that these artists have when they are in the studio. Two pieces halfway between Progressive House and Tech House, but with elements from others genres like funky, breaks, house, tech... all of them mixed with surgeon's precision. We have no doubt that these pieces will be in your heavy weapons tracks folder.

Since first appearing together on the progressive house scene back in 2008 on their Mistique Music label, Michael, Levan and Stiven have evolved immensely. Although still widely regarded for their signature sound, more than ever the trio explores a variety of stylistic blueprints, often cross pollinating genres with an effortless ease.

The trio drifts effortlessly through styles, often blurring the lines of conventional genres and as the sound of trio constantly evolves, each Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic production comes with much excitement. Once thought of as purely progressive house artists, nowadays they have become adept at stylistically varied creations.

Following the massive success of Omniverse, which saw support from some of the biggest names in the scene and reached the Beatport progressive house Top 10, Second Sine returns to Yomo Records with a stunning 3-track EP.

I Was There is a driving progressive gem featuring Andrej's signature sounds including heavy percussion, techy stabs, and atmospheric textures atop an irresistible groove.

Tape Wreck is even more on the techy side of the genre and immediately grabs you with its rolling bassline and cavernous synth stabs. The break with its haunting, complex harmonies allows you to take a little breather before the pounding beats drop back in again.

Within My Heart once again showcases Second Sine's immens production skills. With its lush, almost housey chords and sprinkles of reversed saxophone the track is a deeper affair, yet with enough punch to keep you going on the dancefloor.
