We are more than happy to welcome yet another legend to our ever-growing artist roster - Alexander Kowalski surely doesn't need any introduction at all, as he is one of the most consistent producers in the international circuit of Techno and a highly respected name for fans and colleagues alike. His modern, yet classic approach to writing music gained him a reputation of respect amongst the biggest names in the game and Alexander manages to cement it with every single release he puts out there. We are delighted to be able to release his newest EP „They Came At Night“ with 4 seminal Techno cuts on vinyl and one bonus track for the digital jocks. With a sound akin to the scraping of bone on bone, a pair of armored figures were expelled violently through the half-open maw of the portal. As their forms were tossed unceremoniously upon the rocky ground, each quickly scrambled to their feet, drawing their weapons before lunging at each other’s throats in a ritual of torment. Though they had stood before the gates of hell as friends the energies of that most horrific dimension had twisted their perceptions, which now saw them pitted against each other as rivals in greed. Each coveted the glories of the other, forgetting their own and those that they had shared on the field of battle.

As masters in diametrically opposed schools of combat, the pair struck at each other with a mixture of brutality and precision that quickly saw them open gaping wounds in the bodies of their former comrades as their blood intermingled upon the stones below. From within the portal, the hungry eyes of hell watched with glee, knowing that the two champions would soon join their chosen horde as soldiers of their malevolent glories. 

MNDSCP and REDPILL lead the EATBRAIN horde to new states of sonic consciousness as they deliver a pair of remixes that recontextualize and reanimate a chosen work from each other’s catalogs. The end result is a mind-bending display of intra-label collaboration that sees the veteran EATBRAIN alumni imbue each track with a revenant potential to devastate the dancefloor once more.

Featuring works from 20 artists across the electronic music and techno scenes, Prompt/Imagine presents an in-depth showcase of exciting on-the-rise and established electronic music producers that don’t fit easily into pre-defined genres. Harder vibes, darker worlds, dancefloor focused tracks, and even beautiful ambient drone music created by A.I. algorithms are featured. One common theme throughout the project is the ability of each artist to craft complex and engaging electronic music.

Accompanying the music release, and pushing boundaries in visual form, is a 72-page book featuring sci-fi imagery and conversations with each artist about the role of A.I. in creative practice. Each artist’s likeness, as well as the imagery throughout the book, was generated using artificial intelligence platform Midjourney.
