But well, of course this round anniversary is quite an appropriate reason to get all weepy-eyed and to look back into the golden light of memory. What is it Mollono.Bass and Marc Vogler glimpse there? Unforgettable Times, obviously. With its undertone of sweet melancholia and distinctly ecstatic vibes this tune is made to cause exactly those moments of blissful rapture it was inspired by. Which brings us to yet another 100, namely Kombinat100. In celebration of the special occasion they share one of their previously unreleased hits that was skimmed right from the boiling point of their legendary live sets. Whatever T.T.Z.T. actually stands for - it clearly has to do with earthy, dubby, deep and playful danceability.

London-based John Monkman is the founder of Beesemyer Music but also serves up his rich sounds on Kompakt, Last Night On Earth and Drumcode. He works across multiple styles and as much as making music for the club, he also cooks up richly atmospheric and emotive music. 

He has worked with Pete Tong, Bryan Ferry and Nile Rodgers and when on tour, he plays live in the world's best venues. First up is the immediately arresting 'Perception' with its flashes of synth, whirring drones and textured drums. Spoken words bring a sense of paranoia as twitchy effects, icy percussion and swinging drums all work you into a frenzy. Monkman took inspiration from a Timothy Leary interview for the record envisioning “a phrase repeating with a synthesizer response, in essence a conversation between man & machine”. 

Second cut 'Impulse' is a more groove-driven tune with kicks that rock back and forth under slapping hits. The synth designs are futuristic and the whole vibe is one of intergalactic exploration of the unknown. Both of these hugely accomplished tracks will bring a scene of cinematic drama to any set.

Following the albums "Lessons In Dub" (2012) and "Kontrollverlust" (2017) Leipzig based DJ and producer Marc DePulse now presents his 3rd artist album: Together Alone

The album title reflects the global sentiments surrounding the last two years while being confined indoors. It plays with the opposites of togetherness and aloneness. Being socially distanced during lockdown at home while all together stuck in the same situation individual aloneness was experienced as a collectively felt togetherness.

Therefore the idea behind Together Alone was engaging highly respected artists and friends from all over the planet for a collaborative project which Marc DePulse describes as "a colored box full of high-quality standards and with a lot of great stories inside".

Woven between the intro "Allein" (eng. alone) and the outro "Zusammen" (eng. together) the album captures stories of collectively felt emotions elicited by the pandemic.

The 13 tracks by 12 different artists highlight that despite all hardships we are never alone. This phenomena is represented by track 8 called ZIMWA, derived from the German sentence "Zusammen ist man weniger allein" (eng. Together you are less alone).

For the collaborative LP the artists got virtually together into the studio with Marc DePulse, exchanging stems, sharing parts, making video calls, chatting – simply doing things that were possible during the lockdown period.

Together Alone contains music from club to Easy Listening, from EBM to Breaks, from Pop to Tech – music to remember and heartfelt messages that will not be forgotten so fast.

We're all in this together. Not alone.

The German duo returns to Japanese cult label Mule Musiq to release Boson EP
Frankey & Sandrino’s musical evolution spans one decade, two cities and multiple genres. Following a of years of touring the globe with their incendiary live sets, the German, Essen and Berlin-based artists and founders of the record label Sum Over Histories return to Mule Musiq to release their Boson EP, a sublime and eery production inspired by the freneticism of physics.

Frankey says: "The name Boson is a reference to the Higgs boson particle, produced when millions of subatomic particles collide.” Sandrino continues: “When I hear this weird synth coming in, I imagine those particles in their frenetic dance."

Boson, track one of the new EP, is a chugging and rhythmic house release. The track starts light and builds into an orchestral tsunami with siren-like synths, fat percussion lines and frantic snares. But despite its dark edges the track exudes a sense of play and optimism, projecting to the listener a bright future, both for the dance music community and the artists themselves. 

Track two, XRain, is a back-to-basics return to minimalism. At times melancholic, at times euphoric, analogue chimes add a freneticism to the track while subtle bass grounds it, building up over nine minutes to create an electronica crescendo. The gradual trajectory and eery synths make it an ideal closing track, the perfect backdrop to a cheering crowd, silhouetted by smoke and lit up by lasers.

Tokyo-based founder of Mule Musiq, Toshiya Kawasaki, has an intuition for dark disco, with releases spanning every corner of the globe, all with a common cosmic thread. The result is a unique wave of house productions seemingly created specifically for the label, as though Mule Musiq pulled each release up from the ground whole.

The cover artwork of the Boson EP is designed by German-born illustrator Stefan Marx, famous for his refreshingly mischievous and uninhibited drawings. The aesthetic reflects the playfully subversive nature of the EP; an acid-inspired colouring-in session which offers as a reminder that this music is best approached in the way a child with a fistful of crayons standing in front of a large white wall might do.

Coming for a Musician family was at the young age of 17 when Aracil moved from the north of Spain to London, and discover his passion for the electronic dance music, making, that same year, his first appearances as a Dj within the local scene.

In 2012, Aracil moved to Ibiza, and start to work on his first productions. 
A mixture of energy and harmonies defines Aracil personal sound, which rides between the melancholy and euphoria that distinguish a very unique style of production, as he is always trying to push forward the boundaries, and tell a story with every song. His style as a DJ ranges from pure deep house to melodic techno, with many influences of music from Berlin.

His last production is set to be release it on Einmusika Recordings in October this year, alongside the German producer Nicone. 

Since 2012, Aracil has been part of the Ibiza scene, performing in most of the best known venues of the Island, Sankeys, Space, Pacha, Privilege, Ushuaia or Km5, Destino Pacha among many others, leading him to be chosen by Emerging Ibiza as one of the best new incomer DJ/Producer of 2015, and participate that same year in the DANCEFAIR IBIZA. 

Aracil is currently combining his Residences at Heart Ibiza and Acid Sundays, with his work as a producer and touring dj.
