We've spent the last few months doing what we love most: digging for new music and fresh sounds to expand our down. family.

The result is an EP with the Dutch artist Roze, whose synth-heavy, danceable sound fits perfectly with our current musical ideas.

The two originals are complemented by a phenomenal remix by Sydka, who transformed the EP's title track into a groovy banger that will hopefully set one or the other festival sound system on fire this summer.

Additionally, our French friend Laurent Flaoh has contributed a minimalistic edition of the second track, rounding out the original's distinctive character with his own twist.

We want to welcome all three artists to our down. family and thank them for their great contributions and give as well credits to our graphic designer Kilian Van De Water and to our mastering engineer Haunted Water.

ABOUT THE EP:
Ellora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Sambhajinagar district of Maharashtra, India. It is one of the largest rock-cut Hindu temple cave complexes in the world, with artwork dating from the period 600–1000 CE. Cave 16 features the largest single monolithic rock excavation in the world, the Kailash temple, a chariot-shaped monument dedicated to the god Shiva. The Kailash temple excavation also features sculptures depicting various Hindu deities as well as relief panels summarizing the two major Hindu epics.

There are over 100 caves at the site, all excavated from the basalt cliffs in the Charanandri Hills, 34 of which are open to public. These consist of 17 Hindu (caves 13–29), 12 Buddhist (caves 1–12) and 5 Jain (caves 30–34) caves, each group representing deities and mythologies prevalent in the 1st millennium CE, as well as monasteries of each respective religion. They were built close to one another and illustrate the religious harmony that existed in ancient India. All of the Ellora monuments were built during the Rashtrakuta dynasty (r. 753-982 CE), which constructed part of the Hindu and Buddhist caves, and the Yadava dynasty (c. 1187–1317), which constructed a number of the Jain caves. Funding for the construction of the monuments was provided by royals, traders and the wealthy of the region

It's November in 1971  and Led Zeppelin IV drops via Atlantic Records.
Imagine being there for a moment. You managed to grab a copy of the vinyl, you drop the needle on side one and after 6 seconds Robert Plant bursts  through the speakers with, "Hey hey mamma said the way you move, gon' make you sweat, gon'  make you groove..."

This is the moment that you know Led Zeppelin has create yet another master piece. You haven't even gotten to "Stairway to Heaven" or "When the Levee Breaks" but you just know this album will withstand the test of time.

And so it has! Here we are 54 years later. With a Jeronimoh bootleg. It had to be done. Black Dog is one of my favourite Led Zeppelin tracks... 

Here's one for the dancefloor (with a fresh guitar solo) straight from my home studio in Cape Town <3
