'Hot on the heels of his latest album 'World Is Too Loud' in the spring, and the recent Transit single, Third Attempt returns with a collaboration project with fellow Tromsø-based DJ and producer LP Martin, previously heard on the likes of Paper Disco, Full Pupp and Beatservice Records.
Percolating a swing-savvy mix of infectious slap bass, gnarly Rhodes and sun-bleached Balearic atmospheres, the duo's debut joint effort 'Muggost', features the whole palette of their funky sound grammar as it meshes together facets of jazz, ambient, house and, quite obviously, a quintessential dose of spaced-out disco, through one helluva brightly hued mosaic of textures and colours. 
The title-track 'Muggost' gets the ball rolling on a deft, hip-swaying note with its old-school Chicagoan shuffle, jacuzzi-warm riffs and ankle-snapping breaks. Tailored Ibizean guitar motifs smoothly and joyfully clash against rippling tides of piano and hazed-out bass moves. On 'Byen', smokey cotton club-like atmospheric tropes rapidly make way for a sensual melange of brittle strings and elastic bounce, all laced in the dreamiest of scenarios, sure to have you zoning out to a land of carefree sun-basking and lascivious idleness.
Getting the triple remix treatment, the flagship cut is turned into a proper club workout courtesy of rising Norwegian talent Blue Charm - bringing forth the jacking bravura of the track and optimising its DJ-friendly, rhythmic appeal. LP Martin then mucks in with his 'Apple' revisit; a lax dub variation under strong trip-hop influence and making generous use of the tape-echo to throw us headlong into a world of sedated quiet. Last but not least, Third Attempt throws us back in the heyday of DJ Shadow and instrumental hip-hop classics a la 'Building Steam...' - merging the vaporous beauty of textured synth tapestries with a steely, hard-as-nails drum programming of the finest standard.'

El tapiz sonoro es un eco vibrante y en constante evolución, un testimonio de un viaje forjado en el ritmo y la curiosidad ilimitada. Alguna vez arquitecto de momentos efímeros como productor de eventos, sus oídos estaban sintonizados con el murmullo de la anticipación, el pulso colectivo de una multitud. Esta comprensión innata del flujo y la energía se transmutó en el reino etéreo de la producción musical, donde el sonido crudo se convierte en una arcilla maleable, esculpida en paisajes tanto familiares como de otro mundo.

Antes de todo, existía el latido primal de la bateria, un lenguaje fundamental hablado a través de la piel y la baqueta, un latido inquebrantable que aún resuena profundamente en cada mezcla. Este núcleo rítmico, junto con la previsión de un manager y la visión creativa de un productor artístico, permitió navegar las intrincadas corrientes del mundo de la música, guiando los sonidos nacientes desde el concepto hasta una realidad cautivadora.

Ahora trasciende la mera selección, convirtiéndose en un cartógrafo sónico que traza rutas a través de diversos paisajes sonoros globales. Cada set es un viaje, un caleidoscopio de diferentes estilos y mixtapes recopilados de todo el mundo, donde frecuencias dispares se fusionan en una experiencia singular e inmersiva. Desde el tenue murmullo de las afueras hasta el rugiente abrazo del escenario global, está conjurando atmósferas, dando forma a percepciones e invitando a los oyentes a perderse en la arquitectura ilimitada del sonido. Su arte es un testimonio del poder transformador del ritmo, una narrativa abstracta hilada a partir del propio tejido del mundo audible.


Le Tapiz Sonoro est un écho vibrant et en constante évolution, le témoignage d'un parcours forgé dans le creuset du rythme et d'une curiosité illimitée. Autrefois architecte de moments éphémères en tant que producteur d'événements, ses oreilles étaient déjà accordées au murmure de l'anticipation et au pouls collectif d'une foule. Cette compréhension innée du flux et de l'énergie s'est ensuite transmutée dans le royaume éthéré de la production musicale, où le son brut devient une argile malléable, sculptée en des paysages à la fois familiers et d'un autre monde.

Avant tout, il y avait le battement primal de la batterie, un langage fondamental parlé à travers la peau et la baguette, un rythme inébranlable qui résonne encore profondément dans chaque mix. Ce noyau rythmique, combiné à la prévoyance d'un manager et à la vision créative d'un producteur artistique, a permis de naviguer les courants complexes du monde de la musique, guidant les sons naissants du concept à une réalité captivante.

Aujourd'hui, il transcende la simple sélection, se transformant en un cartographe sonore qui trace des routes à travers divers paysages sonores mondiaux. Chaque set est un voyage, un kaléidoscope de différents styles et de mixtapes compilées du monde entier, où des fréquences disparates fusionnent en une expérience singulière et immersive. Du murmure ténu des périphéries à l'étreinte rugissante de la scène mondiale, il convoque des atmosphères, façonne des perceptions et invite les auditeurs à se perdre dans l'architecture illimitée du son. Son art est un témoignage du pouvoir transformateur du rythme, une narration abstraite tissée à partir du tissu même du monde audible.
