If you have a Nintendo Wii my number is 4034 6593 0742 4722 Through my love of science fiction and music I have gained a slight hobby in photography. I take my digital camera nearly everywhere I go and as well as photographing bands I have been photographed with science fiction and fantasy actors including some who have been writers and directors like Leonard Nimoy at Collectormania http://www.collectormania.com/ As well as visiting O2 Academy Oxford  http://www.o2academyoxford.co.uk/ I have also been to gigs in The Bullingdon, Port Mahon, Wheatsheaf The Cellar and occasionally Bicester Hobgoblin. In The Cellar I was an extra in music videos for 2 local bands called Phantom Theory http://youtu.be/5oiZrYX1Z-g and Very Nice Harry - http://youtu.be/MWcarrUw8ME I also like movies. 

I don't like putting labels to people (mostly because you either end up with people feeling sorry for you or just asking loads of questions just because your different to them) however I am a Vegetarian, with Dyspraxia, Aspergers Syndrome and slightly Color Blind. Dyspraxia is defined as "a delay or dsiorder of the planning and/or execution of complex movements. It may be developmental - part of an individual's make up - or it can be acquired at any stage in life as the result of brain illness or injury as in a stroke. Associated with this may be problems of language, perception and thought." - Mary Colley

People with jobs you may complain about being there every day and look forward to the weekend but you have no idea how lucky you are.

The Night Herons are from Wallingford, Oxfordshire - formed in 2013 by vocalist Rachel Holmes and songwriter/pianist Dave Hemming, and later joined by Chris Baines on drums, Nick Hill on bass, now replaced by Werner de Jong. Created by accident for an emergency gig in a tipi, they have experimented with jazz, folk, trip-hop, pop, funk and gospel. Sometimes I play solo and acoustic, sometimes I play with my bassist Robin and my drum machine (Eric).  I'm based in South Oxfordshire, England.  I also play for Twizz Twangle, Moiety and Song and Supper Rooms.  I love Richard Thompson, Fairport Convention, The Beatles, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Loudon Wainwright, Martin Carthy and Dave Swarbrick, The Cure, The Sisters of Mercy, Siouxie and the Banshees, Joy Division and many others.

Two cats in lockdown, unable to play shows in their usual band, form Squark as a recording project to channel the fears, joys, dreads and hopes of being currently alive.
