Now based in Glasgow, singer-songwriter Charlie previously gigged mainly around Oxfordshire.  Charlie's set generally includes an eclectic mix of upbeat pop songs tinged with the odd hint of blues, country or folk & maybe the odd original/cover in Korean, Japanese or Spanish. 

Singer songwriter & winner of the London 2015 Pride's Got Talent Cabaret, Charlie headlined the Pride stage at BST Hyde Park on Sun 21st June, followed by 3 stages at Pride the following weekend.

Since starting, Charlie has performed about 350 gigs in total, slowing down whilst at the University of Nottingham, studying History with Contemporary Chinese Studies.

I take my digital camera nearly everywhere I go and as well as photographing bands I have been photographed with science fiction and fantasy actors including some who have been writers and directors like Leonard Nimoy at Collectormania http://www.collectormania.com/ As well as visiting O2 Academy Oxford  http://www.o2academyoxford.co.uk/ I have also been to gigs in The Bullingdon, Port Mahon, Wheatsheaf The Cellar and occasionally Bicester Hobgoblin. I don't like putting labels to people (mostly because you either end up with people feeling sorry for you or just asking loads of questions just because your different to them) however I am a Vegetarian, with Dyspraxia, Aspergers Syndrome and slightly Color Blind. Dyspraxia is defined as "a delay or dsiorder of the planning and/or execution of complex movements. It may be developmental - part of an individual's make up - or it can be acquired at any stage in life as the result of brain illness or injury as in a stroke. Vagueworld are an indie rock band from Oxford, England. We play loud and honest music. 

Sometimes I play solo and acoustic, sometimes I play with my bassist Robin and my drum machine (Eric).  I'm based in South Oxfordshire, England.  I also play for Twizz Twangle, Moiety and Song and Supper Rooms.  I love Richard Thompson, Fairport Convention, The Beatles, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Loudon Wainwright, Martin Carthy and Dave Swarbrick, The Cure, The Sisters of Mercy, Siouxie and the Banshees, Joy Division and many others.
