EARTHBOUND! Known as Mother 2 in Japan. One of my childhood favorites. Fond memories of playing this game as a kid; loving the humor, the strife, and the adventure! I chose to create a medley that I felt conveyed the spirit of this game. Definitely heartfelt. Thanks for listening!

Poo folded his arms, eyes closed on cue —
Said, “This smells like fear in a velvet shoe.”

Pressed the button marked “freedom” — got redirected.
Pressed “hope” — it said, “connection rejected.”
Pressed “rooftop garden” — it laughed in French.
Welcome to the ride. It’s got vibes and stench.

This ride don’t stop, it loops in style,
They pump that jazz to make you smile.
Forty-seven’s got no end,
Just coffee, mirrors, and pretend.
Monotoli knows how to blend
Your boredom with a dividend.

Lobby’s got ficus trees and ambient screens,

Paula asked, “Is this marble or sin?”
Jeff whispered, “They updated the spin.”

An HR bot offered “meaningful lunch.”
Poo declined with a Mu-style crunch.
Ness stared at his shoes, then up at the brass —
Said, “It’s funny how ceilings grow out of the past.”

Pressed “career,” and the music swelled.
Pressed “exit,” but the lobby rebelled.
Pressed “peace,” and the lights turned blue.
This is success — in a brand-new hue.

This ride don’t stop, it loops in style,

Floor forty-seven never ends,
But they’ll invoice you for the bends.
Monotoli said, “You’re doing great.”
Then installed a glass ceiling… in space.

Paula laughed, “I sent a resume on a napkin.”
Jeff said, “They offered me a job in abstraction.”
Ness checked his bat. Still legal. Just barely.
Poo said, “I think we reached the floor spiritually.”

Lobby smells like ambition reheated,
We passed Floor 1. No one greeted.
A guy in a tie said, “You look familiar.”
Ness said, “Yeah, I used to be a mirror.”
