Dangermuffin are storytellers. Casting images that are timeless yet novel, the band blends mindful lyrics with contemplative sounds, creating songs aimed at reinvigorating the soul.

Sometimes the stars and planets align and things that can be difficult come surprisingly easy. Such is the case with the formation of Dead 27s. After playing a few casual gigs, the obvious chemistry could no longer be ignored. Since 2012, the band has been on a mission. Relentlessly making their way through the booming Charleston, SC music scene, the Dead 27s garnered the attention and praise of local media, calling them, "the exciting new band to watch" and fan support soon followed. In 2013, Dead 27s took home multiple Charleston City Paper Music Awards for “Song of the Year”, “Rock Band of the Year”, “Up and Coming Artist of the Year”, and guitarist Wallace Mullinax was honored with his second straight award as Charleston’s “Guitarist of the Year”. The band has since opened for Toubab Krewe, Patterson Hood, Col. Bruce Hampton, Orgone, Chris Robinson Brotherhood and shared the stage at festivals with many others. Their sound has been described as “a Southern blend of rock and soul”. In April 2014 and to much critical acclaim, Dead 27s released their 7 song debut, "Chase Your Devils Down”. In summer 2014, the band was honored to place in the top 24 for Vh1's “Make a Band Famous” competition. Although their sound comes from many different influences, the band has their focus on the future. Currently touring while writing and recording, the band continues to gain momentum as they spread their music across the country.

Michael Musco is acclaimed for his commercial music and licenses a large amount of that music to television, radio, and film. In addition, he produces albums, eps, and singles that have the freedom of indie music with a unique and polished sound.

Michael started his musical career like many aspiring musicians, playing guitar in a number of local bands and hoping for a big break. Maybe it was his mid-western location, lack of opportunities or the excessive partying but over time those bands fizzled away. He realized that he was going to have to work harder at pursing music on his own while at the same time figuring out a way to break into the music industry.

From that idea, Musco Sound was born, and he began independently producing commercial music from his home studio. His goal was simple. Make it as a musician or bust trying. Michael began dedicating his time growing Musco Sound while simultaneously writing, recording and producing the Ezy Down Self Titled Album. (Ezy Down was named in honor of legendary guitar player and musician Jimi Hendrix.) 

During this time his commercial music started gaining popularity and that success gave him the freedom to produce the type of music he wanted to, without a label or music industry people calling the shots. He continued producing a prolific library of commercial music in all different styles and genres of music, where he discovered a passion for producing and creating electronic music.

Michael began independently producing and releasing original Electro House and Progressive House music with a dynamic sound and style all his own. Jamsphere Magazine has described him as being on his way to the top, and staying there for a very long time judging by the music he is releasing. His music has been picked up and used on over 100 released albums under 9 different labels, and he shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

Maybe it was his mid-western location or the excessive partying but over time those bands fizzled away and the only thing he was left with was a hangover. He realized that he was going to have to work harder at pursing music on his own.

Overtime, Michael began playing solo gigs singing and playing the acoustic guitar at the local bars where he was paid in free drinks. It would have probably been cheaper to pay him in dollars because he drank like a fish. At this point, his drinking started getting way out of hand and he ended up getting arrested and sentenced to 5 months house arrest. It was during this time he wrote the Ezy Down Self Titled Album.

Michael realized that time was very important and this time, he's either going to make it as a musician or bust. He began producing commercial music in his home studio, which at that time was nothing more then a run of the mill 4 year old computer with mediocre speakers. His drinking continued to get worse until he got arrested again, and sentenced to 90 days in jail. During this time, he realized that he needed to make a serious change. Stop drinking, focus on the music, and record the Ezy Down Album

Ezy Down is named in honor of legendary guitar player and musician Jimi Hendrix. He recorded the album in his home studio with help from producer Tom Koch. During this time his commercial music started gaining in popularity which gave him the freedom to produce the music that he wanted to, without anyone calling the shots.
