Forming in late 2020, The Tonics comprises of lead songwriter and charismatic guitarist Alex Malpass, vocalist Anna Marsh, bass player Charlie Plews and drum aficionado Matt Joiner, with each member bringing alternate perspectives within their close-knit chemistry. Writing music influenced by new wave, post punk and romantic poetry, the group laces their sound with a healthy dose of pop sensibility, building them a feverish and eclectic fan base.
