Tumelo faith Masalesa well known as TLBtheDJ, a
young, dedicated Musician and DJ, originally from
Limpopo(Mokopane) then moved to Gauteng
(Pretoria) to pursue his career as DJ.
He started to be in love with house music at the
age of 16 and approached local taverns to play at
their places, and also played as mobile dj for
parties, weddings around the village. In those times
he was using computer and cassette as the Cdjs
were not well known then.
In 2010 things started to heat up as he moved in
permanently to Soshanguve(Pretoria), is where he
had interest of making his own tracks, then he met
a producer, Darich Moriendez owner of Crept
Record. He became TLBtheDJ inspiration as Darich
music was his motivation, Darich became his
Mentor, taught him in and out about making a
complete track. TLBtheDJ released his first EP by
mid-year of 2011. The track went massive and the
ratings were good.
Then TLBtheDJ sechedule started to be hectic
since people were familiar with him and loved what
he was doing. he performed at SAB promotion with
local talent such as DJ Summertym, lolly pop,C
Buster,Nteeze and Andy's and things started to
look better and good when he shared the stage with Da
capo,Brazo wa Afrika,Sabby,DJ Fortee, Vetkuk And
Mahoota,DJ Shimza,Zinhle,Capricon FM DJ's,Thobela
FM DJ's,Metro FM DJ's and many more.
Certain proposal knocked as his door during 2013,
where he collaborated with Blaq Bone Bushy from Dowa Home of Nteeze and Andy's.Tthings heated up as he
worked with others such as
Kayladeep,lujay,eugene,Pgroove and other
Underground Producers.
His musical journey so far is good, he is hoping for
nothing but the best, hoping to reach a point where
he would own his own record label to uplift the
talent of his own town.
