‘Glutes’ is peak-time material without being overly fast or chaotic, the energy instead coming from the transportive arrangement and emotive melodic content. The same can be said for Bäumel’s ‘Surge’ on Kompakt, an anthem in the sets of Tale Of Us last year which led to this release.

The title track rises and falls, surging with wide-sweeping synth notes and a steady rhythm to anchor the waves. An infectious refrain pulls you further in and, right on cue, the kick drum continues to beat the sweet spot. ‘Engage’ is filled with similarly subtle details, uplifting arpeggios and atmospheric reverb. Half-way through the melody bursts into life, shining brightly through the haze and creating one of those moments of release that make the Afterlife sound work so well on a dancefloor.

For the first time in label history, Keinemusik is putting out an EP with just remixes. The moniker for this: Doppelgänger. The reason for this: Well, we like remixes and were curious to find out how other artists, artists that we appreciate a lot, would approach our material. Why now, you might ask. Why wait for the catalogue number KM038? See, we just wanted to offer those guys a decent pool of tracks to choose from.

Simple Symmetry are going for Adam Ports I Never Wear Black on Side A, transforming the original into a dramatic ride through gong echoing frenzy and riff-heavy e-guitar emphasis. The originals guitar lead on the other hand gets some synthetic treatment, just to be backed up by spaced out synth melodies and an organic bassline.

The second chapter sees &MEs and Finks gruelling comedown score One On One turn into a meditation over groove, courtesy of Bedouin. The guys are going for a sparse, sophisticated arrangement, opening space for Finks shattered croon, yet raising the temperature after the break into a threatening, string-laden climax.

The closing assignment is handled by Redshape. Hes repositioning Rampas Newborn Soul through his very own dark recourse on Electro-Techno. The producer enigma even more so adds some EBM flavour to his signature sound, incorporating a catchy synth bass and heavy, stomping beat. Floor quaking material indeed.

Ki Creighton returns to the label after a monumental year of releases on labels like Elrow , 8bit , Lost and his own UNI imprint. Here he delivers a edgy tech house roller that utilises a female vocal and pins it around a soundscape that will move any floor it’s delivered to. 


8281 – four cryptic numbers that prove that there can be a harmonic balance between Düsseldorf and Cologne. Influenced by early Detroit techno and late House music from the Rhine-Main region, the production duo developed their own distinguished style.

Sam and Andy, aka MANT, are a London based house and techno duo. In 2016, their inimitable brand of club music saw three EP release, including a collaborative EP with Solardo. 2018 is set to be MANT’s most exciting year to date with releases on Circus, Elrow & Solä, MANT were singled out in Data Transmission’s Top 20 Best Festival DJ Sets of 2017; a testament to their prowess as selectors.

Amsterdam based dj/producer Luuk van Dijk performed at Straf_Werk, DGTL, Awakenings, Hyte, Elrow, Knee Deep and Cocoon praise as come as ‘artist-to-watch’ by Hot Since 82, Hector Couto, Eats Everything, Steve Lawler and Shadow Child. After releases on Roush Label, Food Music, Sanity and Lost Records, he now debuts with ‘ UNKNOWN' at Circus.   

Demarzo’s passion for music was hereditary. His father’s life long affair with Funk and Motown became genetic. At the age of 8, Demarzo was enrolled into the Yamaha Keyboard School where he got his first taste of creativity. Whilst studying music technology at college he began producing his own material –An amalgamation encompassing all his influences became evident in his work.

Demarzo’s sound is a meticulously crafted one. His toxic perfectionism and shrewd sense of rhythm lead him naturally to where he is today. His well-revised sets include anything from underground house to main room tech and electronica.

International Deejay Gigolo Records are releasing a remix compilation of DJ Hell produced experimental track „Wir Reiten Durch Die Nacht“, taken from his 5th studio album „Zukunftsmusik“.
 
This release features remixes of internationally renowned artists such as Adriatique, Deetron, Marc Houle and Coyu. First up is Adriatique’s remix, a reflection of their own interpretation of electronic music with a strong and playful vibe. Followed by Deetron’s production, a cool and twisted reimagination of the original with his own trademark sound. Coyu’s remix is a dancefloor ready interpretation of the original cut, with a decidedly more pumped up and dark atmosphere. Last but not least, Marc Houle’s production stands out with it’s arty and eclectic soundscape, focusing on the core elements of the original.

Will be Released in Spring 2018.

The Milanese duo Early Morning gives us a very spacious and floaty track. The continuous arpeggiator and the resonant lead brings us to a pleasant dreamy experience.

Hicky & Kalo reinterprete the track adding warmer drums thus establishing a closer groove, retaking the continuous arpeggiator and composing an engaging melody.

Italian producer Ivory complements the arpeggiator giving it a touch of melancholy and generates a more heady groove creating thereby a perfect track for the late hours.
