I was thrilled to accompany the whole @thenakedteaparty *play* edition with a sensual sound tapestry, as it was a more hedonistic version of this amazing event. Feeling cozy in that environment, I got to spin some of my favourite seductive slow tracks ♡
Loved witnessing all the people dance, cuddle, exchange massages, and just be all cute with eachother. I think it's a healing experience to celebrate physical connection, platonic intimacy and body positivity as a community. Deep gratitude to Danielle for inviting me to play ~

About this journey:
Very soon we will present you a debut EP of the Ukrainian electronic artist Oleksandr Kopyl (aka OK Selekta). The “I (aya) care” EP featuring Belorusian folktronica singer Maryna Rusia Shukiurava (aka Shuma) is full of medicine vibe and meditative soundscapes.
This Cosmocast is a sort of introduction of OK Selekta to our listeners. The name of the mix is “Cosmic family rendezvous” - the artists live in different countries and because of war can’t meet in person. So music is the only virtual yet very precious space where cosmic family meets. OK Selekta and Shuma are welcoming you to visit their sacred music place and share the vibe.

Nostalgic for the good ole Latin-American downtempo? Then this mixtape is just what you need with @lagartijeando delivering an ode to the Andean sound directly to your soul! Despite the international acclaim this great Argentinian producer has received over the last couple of years, he chose to stay in the small village where he was born and raised. His productions, featuring local instruments and motifs, manifest his admirable attachment to his origins and the traditional music of his homeland. His first approach to music, at the age of 14, was accidental because “nobody wanted to play bass guitar in town” so he learned it and started to play with his friends. It is astonishing how this almost random first step awakened his dormant talent for music which turned a boy into a brilliant electronic producer and music professor. The set that Lagartijeando prepared for UCR features many of his latest productions including seven unreleased tracks. Gentle instrumental sounds of flutes and drums, organic samples and a vibrant electronic beat blend beautifully into an enchanting musical journey which we are pleased to offer to our listeners.
