One Mic Recording is based at Antfarm Studios, Essex, UK. All material is recorded using just one stereo mic, currently the AEA R88 Blumlein stereo ribbon mic. The musicians are responsible for their own and group dynamic. All preparation is in pre-production, there are no post-production duties, nothing can be fixed in the mix. Sessions 7 days per week, 10am to 2pm, 2pm to 6pm, 7pm to 11pm.

Weekday session times from 1hour to 8 hours, evening and weekend sessions are set 4 hour blocks.

From Hank to Buck and Merle, Wills, Gram to Earle--"We got both kinds of music here--we got country AND western". East Lonesome Drifters is a five-piece outfit that pay homage to traditional country, honkytonk, western swing, Bakersfield and bluegrass.  With three part harmonies, acoustic guitar, pedal steel, telecaster and bass (and the occasional washboard, piano and harmonica thrown in) Yank singer Crispy Cowboy gives authentic voice to the stories behind the songs. Left Hand Cuts off the Right (Robbie Judkins) is an outlet for exploratory methods and composition. During live performances he plays with bent electronics, acoustic instrumentation, hand percussion, field recordings, loops and effects. The sounds are of otherworldliness, twinkling twitchings, habitual drones, crackling rhythms and oddities directing you, transfixed, through the wonderment.
