Simplemind Joins The Wakeup Scene

The Astronaut's search brings them to Tanar'oth, a remote and uncharted desert planet. The barren world shows no signs of life, save for a recondite monolith amidst the immeasurable sand.

A mystifying stone rests atop a pedestal at the base of the monument. The rock, a pristine, obsidian like sphere, emanates an unnatural aura, as if time and space are warped by its presence.

Upon touching the stone, The Astronaut is rushed with a fleeting sense of home before plunging into a maddening nightmare. The visions, more than mere hallucinations, reveal the terrible origins of The Nebula, and the destruction it will bring if it continues to spread across the universe.

It is unclear how long The Astronaut's descent persisted. As the visions began to fade, The Astronaut, exhausted, collapses into a restless sleep.
